Yo, Death City, how's everyone doin'? [ Duo's smiling face comes across the network, his braid wrapped up in a bun at the back of his head, a small smear of what is probably motor grease across his cheek. He seems to be outside working on his motorcycle, dressed in what appears to be a black tank top and cut off shorts to try and beat the heat. It's clearly not working, but this is what he gets for being a colony kid used to controlled environments. ]

Just a reminder - if anything of yours or you got smashed up - give all of us at Black Mesa a call. We make house calls or we can fix your stuff in office, and I know my way around just about everything. We also offer security systems, if you wanna be able to track down whoever smashed your stuff up, if it happens again.

[ Duo laughs a little, lightly. ] All I can say is, those guys were real lucky Shinigami's been retired for a few years now or I would've been a lot less tolerant of all this rampaging bullshit. At least it gives me an excuse to fix my bike up though, right?

Damn dude, lookin' rough. [ Duo can't help a little laugh, at that, even though it's completely not funny that matt apparently got his ass run over, or something like that. The braided pilot sighs, as he looks over his bike, trying to guess. ]

i think it just got tipped over. Still runs fine and shit, I just found it on it's side and of course the paint is fucked up and it's dented..

Yeah, it is. Just a bummer, you know? It was weird - kinda felt like a war zone for a minute. I tried to leave to go and get my fresh veggies and shit like that and instead some kid tried to jump me. [ Duo snorts, a little bit of a dark smirk spreading over his face. ]

Pretty sure I broke his hand for his trouble, but shit sucks when you don't know who you're fucking with, mmn?

It was deserved, in my opinion. You don't fuck with another dude's bike. That's sacrilege.

[ As if on cue someone walks by Duo off screen and he pauses, eyes turning to one side and then the other, tracking their movement while he prepared himself for anything. ]

Aha. [ Matt tilts his head.

War, right? PTSD and things like that? Things Matt maybe knows but he never really looked into since he doesn't want to think about complicated matters. ]

Want some company? I can hold your hand. [ he adds a smile. Not really making fun of Duo. ]

[ Duo frowns at the camera, glaring at Matt through there as best as he possibly can. He didn't like admitting that things like this still freaked him out and put him on edge - and damn it he doesn't need his hand held! ]
