[The camera shows Ambassador G'kar of the Narn. His skin is an orange hue, and covered in dark spots. His forehead is bulbous and his chin prominent. He is an old Narn, a fact evidenced by the web of dark lines around his eyes and mouth. He gives an exaggerated sigh, and then begins to speak:]

God has always moved in mysterious ways. One's fate is ever inscrutable, subject to change at a moment's notice, and yet...if one examines it closely, they will find that there is always a purpose, hiding just beyond our capacity to glimpse it.

However, this time I must confess that I am confounded. Perhaps some of you can aid me in understanding this.

I have been torn from my world - from my very universe, in fact. I have been banished, for no just cause and with no recourse on my part, to a technological backwater populated entirely by humans and with no chance of ever again seeing the face of a fellow Narn.

[As this line progressed, his face became increasingly dark, his tone more severe and unhappy, but now his face twists into utter rage.]

And yet, how is it that despite these circumstances, I am still not rid of Londo Mollari? If ever there was evidence that I am the universe's whipping boy, surely this is it!

[There's actually a short pause. Londo's grown in his time, just a little. But then that pause is over and he's back to arguing.]

The humans say a great many things, and not all of them make sense, hm? The Narns, they have done much in return, I will remind you.

I have nothing against humans. But they are not my people!

Fair enough. I have nothing against aliens, except when they treat humans as food or slave. It's a surprisingly extensive list of species.

Even if it's someone you don't like, isn't it better to have someone who comes from the same world as you, who knows how things are? Especially when you're from a place so different. There's at least that bit of something familiar that way, right?

Our world was once a jungle paradise, teeming with life. Until the Centauri enslaved my people, and strip-mined our world for its resources. Now it is hard and barren, although we have hopes that our terraforming projects will bear fruit.
