[Well, Chika's looking much better than she did the last time she had appeared on the DEMISE network. But even so, she doesn't really look all that super happy.

Actually, she's frowning a bit, her eyes darting between the communicator and something off-screen.]

So umm... there's going to be a gala, isn't there? Like... big fancy party and... well, formal dresses and stuff.

[Chika sighs.]

Okay, I guess there's no real easy way to ask this. I need help finding a dress. For something like a gala, I really have no idea what I'm doing at all.

I need a date too, but well, need to focus on the dress first.

[Chika forces a smile to her face, hoping that she hadn't really been too loud with that last comment. She was kinda surprised that she actually said that outloud instead of just thinking it, but well, nervous.]

So umm, if anyone doesn't mind helping me look for a dress, I'd really appreciate the help.

Sure, I'll help you pick it out. I need to get something nice and stuff for myself too.

[And a chance to go on a shopping trip with girls! Oh it was something Kaede really missed back at home.]

[Oh, hi there Kaede. It's been a while since you and Chika talked.][You know what, why wouldn't she? Relena would have tons of experience with this stuff, and Relena was the same age as Kaede was.]

But you know, even if you don't, I think it'd be fun to go dress shopping with you anyway.

[The compliment caught her offguard and causes her to turn a shade of red.]

Oh you think so? Maybe you can go with Karina too, I bet she knows about fashion than me.

Of course I mean it.

[She giggles.]

And actually, Karina just offered too. Maybe the three of us could go together then. I mean, I've really been kinda... well, lax on getting to know people lately and I should've tried doing something like this before now.

Yeah I saw her! And yeah we should! When can we go together? I'm free whenever I'm not at school or training.

[scatterflower]

I don't mind, and I don't think Karina does either. So we'll definitely go together.

I'll let you know what day we're going to go after I talk it over a bit more with Karina. I'm not sure what her schedule's like this weekend... though mine's kinda busy like always.

[She giggles a bit. It was her fault for taking up management at Triple A.]

Mmm, okay! I'll talk to my dad too to make sure he's okay with it.

[Though she didn't think he would oppose the idea at all.]

Yeah, that's probably a good idea. Last thing we need is for him to go running around everywhere looking for you, right?

[She giggled a bit, before giving Kaede another smile.]

So, what have you been up to lately?

[traust]

Not much, there's not a lot of things for me to do around here cause everybody treats me like a little kid.

[scatterflower]

Yeah... I... well, I guess that's kinda a hard mindset for people to get out of. That kids your age can't help out or be useful...

And even we know better we still don't want to put you in danger.

[Chika can't stand the thought of having Kaede involved in a battle with Kishin eggs, but well... it was probably going to happen.]

... But I know how you feel. Back home I was on your end of this whole issue myself, when I was your age. Of course, I didn't really want to fight, but I didn't want anyone to be fighting at all.

Hopefully everyone else will come around and start taking the possibility of you getting involved more seriously. Because no matter what we want, you're not going to be staying out of this forever.
