[John's never really made an entry to the network before even though he's been here for awhile, but better late than never, right? He's sitting on the floor, his rabbit hopping around and exploring in front of him.]

Hi, guys! [He waves with a smile.] I just wanted to say sorry to anyone who was worried about me and to say thanks for helping Karkat not to kill my rabbit while I was away. I went home for a year but I'm back now! It's kind of weird having a full year go by back home when it was only one day here... I got to meet a lot of people I've meet here though so that was fun! I got to see all my friends again too, but only for a little moment before I was brought back. That kind of sucked but oh well. I'm sure I'll see them again.

What did I miss? I heard something about people going missing on missions...?

Who knows... but I'm not upset it did. I have friends here I would miss back home. If I remembered them...

I can understand that. I've made quite a number of friends here too, who I would sorely miss. [Not to mention she has her loved ones from Alternia well and alive here too]

Speaking of which, you are Karkat's friend, no? I too am acquainted with him--my name is Di.

Yeah, he's my good buddy! We are sort of from the same place. He kind of created my universe. It's pretty complicated.

[Di has heard about SGRUB and these universe creating shenanigans.

It still baffles her.]

That seems like an understatement. [Her smile widens a little.] What was that universe like?

My universe...?

[scribes]

Yes! Was it anything like Alternia? More like this one? Or completely different from either? It's always fascinating to learn about new worlds, and I'm quite curious to hear about what Karkat and his friends created.

It's pretty much exactly like this one, except there's no aliens there and nobody changes into a weapon. There are no kishin or kishin eggs or witches running around either. Everyone's a normal human and nobody has any super powers.

[scribes]

Many people speak of a home that is similar to this one. [Makes her wonder why there are so many Earths--or at least, why BREW brings so many people from likewise planets. Perhaps because it thinks they'd be more cooperative? Who knows.]

Well, in any case, it was good to meet you John Egbert. I am glad to find you are safe and sound--welcome back. Should you ever need anything, please do not hesitate to ask. Any friend of Karkat's is a friend of mine.
