Chocolate Buttercream Frosting | Video | July 22
[The device comes on and at first you can just see a set of full lips. After a moment it's pulled away until Bianchi is completely visible, a bit of flour on her cheek. She presses reading glasses up her nose and sets aside a wisk with something creamy dripping from it and sits down. Setting her chin on her hand she offers a slow smile to the viewer. When she starts speaking there is a definite Italian accent.]
Hello, I have been experimenting with some of the local flavors but it appears to be mostly standard fare in the local market. Can any one tell me what kinds of interesting ingredients are avaliable in this part of the United States? Most of my experience is farther east. And where is the nearest place to buy a black light?
[she pauses for a moment looking thoughtful] I have also not yet found the local chemist, or I suppose it's a pharmacist here. I have need of some special pharmaceutical supplies. Perhaps I'll need to visit Vegas.
I must say that I am not at all disappointed to be so close to Las Vegas. If I am going to be helping in such a place, it is always nice to have access to decent designers.
[Her smile slowly returns as though she's made some sort of decision before she presses a button and the image disappears.]
Voice
You have an interest in medication?
Voice
You could say. I'm a nurse by profession.
Voice
Ah, well then, you would be the expert on supply I should think. Perhaps we can compare notes sometime.
Voice
Perhaps I can be convinced into comparing notes. Though, it would be unprofessional of me to speak with someone who hasn't mentioned their own occupation that requires potentially fatal chemicals.
Voice
Mmm, and here I thought pharmaceutical supplies were generally used for the opposite? [She's got her chin in her hand and she's smiling now, looking pleased with the conversation on the whole.] In my own world, I'm quite renowned for my cooking. [And perhaps that means something in relation to chemicals or perhaps it has nothing at all to do with them. It's certainly not the main title of her profession.]
Voice
They are, but in the inexperienced hands of fools, any medicine is deadly. [She already likes this conversation] I see. Cooking does have its chemicals. We should get together and discuss those factors at the very least...
Voice
I think that sounds like an excellent plan. Please let me know at your earliest convenience when we might take a cup of coffee and get to know one another.
Voice
I would say... One hour. Death By Pastry in the Shopping District.
Voice
[And a pastry shop as well. Bianchi smiles and it comes across in her tone] That sounds lovely. I will find it.
Voice
Hmhm, until then. [And the audio connection ends.]
