Hello, I have been experimenting with some of the local flavors but it appears to be mostly standard fare in the local market. Can any one tell me what kinds of interesting ingredients are avaliable in this part of the United States? Most of my experience is farther east. And where is the nearest place to buy a black light?

[she pauses for a moment looking thoughtful] I have also not yet found the local chemist, or I suppose it's a pharmacist here. I have need of some special pharmaceutical supplies. Perhaps I'll need to visit Vegas.

I must say that I am not at all disappointed to be so close to Las Vegas. If I am going to be helping in such a place, it is always nice to have access to decent designers.

[Her smile slowly returns as though she's made some sort of decision before she presses a button and the image disappears.]

Ahh, you must be the roommate? I have studied in Italy and Japan and therefore those are my specialties, but I enjoy cooking delicacies from many places. The more exotic the more I enjoy them. Do you have a prefrence?

It's been a while since I've had proper Japanese food that didn't require me being on a mission in Japan. I do have an international palate, though.

Well, that is fortunate. I have been told my Sushi is impressive. [Even if it reminded her of someone annoying.] I had been working on Fugu before I'd was brought here. You can imagine my irritation. Perhaps being in the US will give me a chance to work with Ackee. I have an interesting Ackee and Saltfish recipe. I was planning on crème brûlée tomorrow.

Mm. Jamaican. I've only had a few of those dishes before. Fugu does take a skilled hand to work. Though, I've never been fond of it, so there's no need to prepare any here.

If you and my partner have come to a final agreement, you can start tomorrow.

Unless you will provide the raw ingredients, I will have to visit Las Vegas before I can do any real cooking, but I am always happy to provide a good meal. I imagine one cannot get decently fresh puffer fish in Nevada anyway.
