7th Turn: Video | July 31th
[The video starts with an evil laugh and gleaming eyes in sinister shadows before Bakura leans forward with a grin that’s full of bared teeth. The evil spirit has spent the last days searching the city near and far for the souls of two certain multi-color-haired midgets just to return with his hands empty. He had went all the way to make sure that it was no fluke and now he had certainty of the result. Malicious killing intend is dancing in both his eyes and his voice, twisting them more away from his nice counterpart than ever as he intones a mocking chant.]
The king is dead, the king is dead, long live the king~! Isn’t that how it’s said? [He laughs derisively before he shakes his head with a haughty tsk.]
All those things, all those times …and now that! Having it end like that feels almost too easy! [His smile drops into a discontent frown that turns his eyes hard before he tsks again and shakes his head as he brushes whatever thought he had aside with a wave of his hand.
The expression he presents the network with again seconds later is that of a winner, amused and cruel. ] No more games, dear Death City, for the main actor’s dead and the rest of the story’s already settled! [He feels betrayed.]
Both the main actor and the secondary cast have been removed. [He'd wanted some more time.]
So I’m going to end the game-! [It should have been personal!!]
The only thing is.. What’s the gamemaster left to do once the game’s won and over? [The frown is back at those last words. For a moment Bakura seems honestly troubled, then he shakes his head again with a mumbled curse and ends the connection. Atem has been much more than just an enemy to him.
No amount of public gloating can replace killing him with his own hands.]

As for the spoils... of course they are. If anything, you could say that they've grown with the introduction of this and other worlds.

{She stretches out the vaguely affirmatory syllables, her brow furrowing slightly.}
You can understand why I'm a little confused by the aggressively jubilant gloating post, then.

{…what's a tactful way to say, 'aren't you dead, too?'}

Yeah, yeah, I know. It's not exactly like I'm the pinnacle of living health either. What I meant is that he's dead in the real, wholesome and complete way and not just that he's out of own functioning bodies. It's an Egyptian-thing.

{Another short pause.}
…isn't it technically his win then?
private video
No, not at rest. Or maybe yes, he is, if you consider realizing with your dying breath that you just unlocked the calamity that you once gave your life and memories for to stop once more and that everybody will die thanks to you as 'at rest'.
[He tosses his head back and let's out a gale of rambunctious laughter. The irony of it really is too much!]
I don't know if he'd want to call that his win, but if he wanted to finish what he and his cursed family have started, then it certainly is!
