[The video starts with an evil laugh and gleaming eyes in sinister shadows before Bakura leans forward with a grin that’s full of bared teeth. The evil spirit has spent the last days searching the city near and far for the souls of two certain multi-color-haired midgets just to return with his hands empty. He had went all the way to make sure that it was no fluke and now he had certainty of the result. Malicious killing intend is dancing in both his eyes and his voice, twisting them more away from his nice counterpart than ever as he intones a mocking chant.]

The king is dead, the king is dead, long live the king~! Isn’t that how it’s said? [He laughs derisively before he shakes his head with a haughty tsk.]

All those things, all those times …and now that! Having it end like that feels almost too easy! [His smile drops into a discontent frown that turns his eyes hard before he tsks again and shakes his head as he brushes whatever thought he had aside with a wave of his hand.

The expression he presents the network with again seconds later is that of a winner, amused and cruel. ] No more games, dear Death City, for the main actor’s dead and the rest of the story’s already settled! [He feels betrayed.]

Both the main actor and the secondary cast have been removed. [He'd wanted some more time.]

So I’m going to end the game-! [It should have been personal!!]

The only thing is.. What’s the gamemaster left to do once the game’s won and over? [The frown is back at those last words. For a moment Bakura seems honestly troubled, then he shakes his head again with a mumbled curse and ends the connection. Atem has been much more than just an enemy to him.

No amount of public gloating can replace killing him with his own hands.]

[Nanami studies his face for a moment with a small smile] Unless you want a furry friend, I quite doubt it... or perhaps you want to search someone's room for treasure left behind?

A pet? [He pulls a face.] No thanks, I'm already having more than enough of that with that bastard Ryou. [Whom he still holds a minor grudge at. So much time and patience, just wasted with that one...]

And I think you seem to misunderstand the kind of thief I am.

You aren't at all curious to see if he left anything of interest behind?

I'm not. There's only one thing he's had that would have been of interest for me and I'm getting that one way or another. It's not as if there's any funeral jewelry to be expected, either.

You're that insistent about it, did you already go through his stuff and now need somebody to cover your tracks?

Of course not, I've simply opened his door to make sure he had really been sent home and just recently to see if he had a carrier somewhere for this cat.

And? Was there anything past his twenty thousand brushes or whatever else he needed to maintain that ridiculous hair of his? [Bakura, first look at your own head before you start throwing stones at somebody else for their hairdo.]

[yeah Nanami can't talk either but that's not stopping her from looking at his hair]

Most of those types of items appear to be gone.

Well, since he's gone feel free to visit whenever. I won't have to worry about my living room becoming a war zone anymore.

Not a graveyard. [He scrunches up his nose.] Did you ever smell a decomposing corpse? That shit stinks and gets messy real quickly, unless you dry them enough to get a mummy.

That's exactly my sentiments. We'd dump him somewhere rolled up in a carpet. Or a litter bag.

We? I don't think so. There is no death ever in my living room no matter who it is. I don't even want to talk about this anymore.

[Not to mention the fact that she actually likes Atem, a lot.]
