Hey everyone. Sorry for being... well, a complete mess this past week. [ But hey, at least Chika's not really all that depressed now, right? That's better... though she's still not completely happy and being her usual, excitable self. ]

Anyway, like I said last time, almost all of our regular employees at Triple A have been sent back by BREW, so we're pretty much hiring again. We have a couple of temp people from Shibusen helping out, but I'd really prefer for us to have at least a bit of a stable employee force instead of just having temp workers alternate all the time.

Don't get me wrong, they're perfectly nice people, but well... it's harder to get people who really know the Arcade like that.

[ She pauses for a moment, shifting her mirror a bit. ]

Anyway, we're looking for all positions. Ticket and token clerks, janitors, a mascot, and repair techs. If any of that sounds like something you can do and you're interested in the position, reply to this message and we'll go ahead and set up an interview in person. We're going to be hiring for a while, so don't feel bad if you're too busy to meet within the next couple of days.

[ She waves into the camera, before signing off... and going to sending a few more private messages. ]

Hey Kyubey? Are you able to talk right now? There's something I want to ask you real quick.

[ Private to Mami]

Hey Tomoe-san! Is everything going well for you? I was thinking that maybe we could figure out some sort of shopping trip in the next couple of days. You know, to just hang out a bit?

[ Private to Kyoko]

Hey Kyoko! Umm... remember how you said that you wanted to try practicing with me again when I was feeling better? Well, I'm not completely better yet, but I am feeling better. I figured we could see if we could resonate together better now?

[She might be kind of inclined to volunteer if she had any experience with dealing with the public, or if she hadn't landed herself a Watch shift pretty quickly after arriving.]

I've got free time now, too, if that works. I usually don't have much to do until later in the evening, anyway.

I don't think now's going to be really good for practicing resonating. I kinda... don't get a day off unless I actually plan for it days in advance.

But if you want to come by and hang out at the Arcade, I'm totally okay with that. There's going to be some downtime when there's not much to do, after all. And it'll give us time to talk too.

[She gives a small shrug in response to the first comments. Se had a feeling that would be the case, but the offer still felt like a good idea.]

Hm, I was thinking of dropping in either way, like I said, I've got free time for a while longer. [And then she grins a little.] I'm usure I'll see you when I get there, right?

[ Chika grins back. ]

Oh. Of course you're going to see me. I need to make sure that everything's running right and all that stuff, after all. [ Not to mention keep some of the customers from trying to break one of the games when they die for the seventieth time. ]

I'm going to grab something to eat first. [As if you aren't always eating Kyoko omfg] And then I'll be seeing you soon, alright?

Sure. That's fine! I'll see you soon then.

And I hope you enjoy your lunch. [ And hopefully if you brought it or a snack with you it won't be something too messy. ]

See ya! [And here, she cuts off the video feed.

It isn't terribly long before she shows up at the arcade, though. Presumably she grabbed something that could easily be eaten while out walking, and when she does make it inside, she's got a bag of pretzel sticks - mostly eaten of course - at her side.

She goes through the building at a somewhat leisurely pace, simply starting with scoping everything out and trying to figure out what sounds best to play.]

[ When Kyoko comes into the Arcade building, she's likely to see Chika darting around everywhere, grabbing a broom and sweeping up in one particular area of the arcade where someone had decided to drop a full bag of popcorn.

While she's trying to sweep it all into a dustpan though, she looks up and sees that Kyoko's there. With a bag of food in her hand. ]

Hey Kyoko. [ She sighs. At least the bag wasn't anywhere near full.] Please tell me that all of those pretzels are only going to go into your mouth.

[It's easy enough to find Chika with her zipping about like that, but it's finding her cleaning up that particular sort of mess that seems to immediately put Kyoko in a bad mood. Not directed at the other girl, of course, but at the mess itself. Her free hand tightens into a fist very briefly, but she quickly realizes that whoever made the mess is likely not in the immediate area, and getting angry over it wouldn't do any good.

Still, she sounds awfully displeased when she replies.]

Of course. I'm not so disrespectful as to waste food like that.

[Way to get passionate about food, Kyoko. With an irritated sigh, she forces herself to relax, unclenching her hand and tone softening a few degrees.] Do you want any help with that?

[ Chika blinks about Kyoko's comment about being disrespectful, but then the other girl is offering to help and she can't help but smile a bit in relief. ]

Yeah. I could use a little bit more help here. Can you keep the dustpan steady so I can finish sweeping everything in?

[ This whole thing was taking so long because the damn thing kept moving whenever she did more than a couple of sweeps. They really needed to invest in something a little bit sturdier. Or you know, just better. ]

Yeah, sure.

[Crouching down, Kyoko holds the dustpan steady with her free hand, though she can't help but give a small sigh of dismay at seeing the food go to waste. There... might be a part of her that's tempted to collect it up for herself, but no. No Kyoko that is not how you behave in public.]

What a waste... [She says, mostly as an aside to herself.]

Yeah. I know... I can't believe that someone would be careless enough to do this.

[ She finally finishes sweeping up after a few moments, and lets out a sigh before moving to take the dustpan from Kyoko and dump the contents in the trash. ]

At least it was only popcorn though. Anything else could've been really messy to clean up. And better food that's not even good for you than something that could've been an actual meal.

[Any food wasted is a shame as far as Kyoko's concerned. Healthy food, snacks, cheap or expensive, it's all the same to her, really.]

You don't have to be so formal, just Kyoko is fine. But, yeah, it's no problem. [She looks a little melancholy to see it go, though.

Okay, enough of that. This is an arcade, the kind of place to have fun...! Time to lift her spirits a little. Turning her focus back to the various games, Kyoko gives a contemplative hum.] So, what's good today...? [Half a comment to herself, and half an actual question to Chika.]

[ Chika giggles a bit. Surely '-san' wasn't really all that formal, right. But then again, if Kyoko didn't want her to use it, why bother? But then there's a question, and she's really eager to answer. ]

Well, there are a ton of good games that we have here! But whatever you think is good is probably going to depend on the type of games that you like to play, Kyoko?

Are you into fighting games at all? Or do you prefer racing games or something like DDR?
