So, is this normal here too? Aside from constant surveillance, ongoing war and random kidnappings in the name of "war effort" they seem so fond of.

[The screen tilts again, and Nezumi gives the screen a very slight, lidded grin.]

Given what else can harm us here, a natural disaster is practically refreshing. But no, it's not particularly common.

I don't know. If mother nature were looking to tantalise us with something refreshing, perhaps a typhoon would have been the better choice.

There's no point in getting into a debate about religion now. [It's not that he doesn't want to challenge Nezumi's apparent lack of belief. If he did, it would likely be fruitless.]

Isn't it just? Pity this place fails to show appreciation for the arts.

I should think that a true actor would be able to make a performance in any location. It's a form of art, after all.
