Seventh Roll: February 7th, Evening. [Text]

I think Vash was sent back. I haven't seen him since Friday night, and his things are gone.

Yeah.

I wanted to make sure before

He doesn't have many things, so I thought he might have just gone out. But he wouldn't ignore me like this.

It's never easy losing anyone close to you. I'm here if you ever want to talk about it, or if you just want some company.

I don't want to talk about it.

[[He wants to pretend it didn't happen, but he tried that already...]]

Company would be nice.

Can I stop by your place?

Sure you can! Teresa and I just got back from a mission, so I'm just making some dinner right now. Have you eaten?

Not yet.

[[He's actually not quite sure when he last ate. Breakfast, maybe? Either way...]]

Then I'll make sure to add extra and you can have dinner with me.

[[And about 20 minutes later there'll be a knock at Yuuri's door. Bakura has bought pastries this time, since he hasn't been cooking much the past few days and wants to bring something fresh.]]

[Dinner was almost ready when the knock came. He didn't take long to answer, and when he did, there was a large smile as he stepped to the side.]

Bakura! Come in!

[[Bakura's smile was smaller than usual, and a bit tired looking, but genuine all the same as he entered the apartment. He himself looked rather worn out, but he was still attempting to keep up appearances of being normal.]] Thanks for having me over.

[[He holds out the pastry box with a bit of an apologetic look]] They aren't homemade, but I hope they'll do...

[Yuuri knew well what it was like to lose those important to you, especially Meisters, so he understands Bakura's feelings well. That's why his expression softened at the sight of the other boy.]

What are friends for? [He glanced down at the offer before reaching out to take the box.] No, they're great! Thank you so much! Please come in.

[ooc: any requests for what they have for dinner? Otherwise I'll just make it curry and rice xD]

[[Bakura smiles, giving a small nod as he steps inside]] Should I take off my sneakers? [[It was an almost absentminded question, as if he knew he should remember but couldn't recall]]

[With the box in hand, Yuuri then disappeared back into the kitchen to see how his curry was going.]

[[nods, carefully sliding them off before setting them down next to the door.]] Anything I can do to help?

[Yuuri wasn't ignoring Bakura in the slightest, but he also knew that now wasn't the time to say anything either. His Mum always say that curry could heal any wounds, and he hoped that the curry he made would even do a hint of it.]

Did you want to get the bowls and spoons out for me? They're in the top cupboard nearest the fridge, and the cutlery is in the first draw on the right of the sink.

[[It was a rare thing for Bakura to be having a home cooked meal that he hadn't had a hand in making, something associated with Domino and having friends there, long nights mixed between studying and gaming. Mostly gaming.

He nodded, moving around the kitchen with practiced ease as if it was one of the many he'd lived in. Really, there were only so many layouts that a kitchen could have, and with all his moving...]]
