Plan A-1 :: Text
Hello, everyone. My name is Touma H. Norstein, and despite my initial doubts, it seems that everything here is legitimate. This is, however, outside my usual area of expertise, and suffice it to say, I'm wondering how I should go about acclimating myself to my new surroundings.
I'm told I'm a "Meister", and suffice it to say, it seems as though my best course of action is to work with the powers-that-be here and learn how to hone these abilities I've been given. Back home, I am both a scientist and a doctor, and I know this place does allow you to approach these phenomena academically...
I suppose, ultimately, the question I'm asking is...
Where do I start?

One: the animating and vital principle in humans, credited with the faculties of thought, action, and emotion and often conceived as an immaterial entity.
Two: The spiritual nature of humans, regarded as immortal, separable from the body at death, and susceptible to happiness or misery in a future state.
Three: The disembodied spirit of a dead entity.
[Cranking his screw now.]
There is a fourth - 'a human' - but that is philosophically problematic.
Questions before we talk properties?

And I'm thankful to finally reach something academic.

[Dropping his hand again, pillowing his arms once more on his chair.]
A soul possesses great energy: it powers the body in as much as a body's physical organs do. It embodies one's will, and everything that one has become. Remove the soul, and you remove the very thing that makes a living creature what it is.
That is the energy that Meisters and Weapons channel. That is also the energy that fuels kishin.

And I'd have to know more about what the BREW is before I could even begin to answer that.

Don't think too hard.
