*Auron belatedly recalls Roy saying something about making posts if you were a Zone Leader in the Watch every time new people strolled in. Better late than never, he supposes.*

To all the people who just showed up in town, welcome. Name's Auron and I, along with my Weapon partner Katakura Koujurou, are Zone Leaders of the Watch in the Shopping District.

If you have questions about everything going on here, you can contact any Zone Leader. Or the Watch. You feel like knowing more and signing up, we have an office *that he throws in where to find* Or you can harass Roy Mustang. He loves talking to people.

I also run a class on survival skills and I'll be teaching another one coming up soon. This one will deal with desert survival. As to where it takes place, I'll let you know.

Things have been a little crazy and you probably already know this, but Rikku's gone too. Looks like the only one left from Spira is me.

'Desert survival'? Do you think that anyone will get lost outside the city?

Not really. But if something were to happen that had to make everyone leave the city, it'd certainly help to know how to handle the environment we're surrounded by.

Fair enough. Survival would get difficult if you suddenly have no home to return to anymore while being in a place like this.

Nice to meet you, Mr. Auron. I'm Carl Kolchak, reporter for Independent News Service. Can you tell me more about the Watch? Are you a police or military organization?

A lot of people come from different places. Some people can live and survive off the land and some clearly can't. Going on missions involves going all over the world. Might be a bit of a shock to those who previously had comfortable lives. The classes are to help everyone get the skills they need to survive a night or two alone outside the city, no matter where they are.

Thought you might like that.

*sighs* Well, she lost everyone else around her. Probably better that she's back in Spira.

I don't feel like going back, though. Too much to do here.

Do you have deserts in Hi-no-Moto? *That's the only reason why he hadn't asked before.*

A reporter? *There wasn't really journalism on Spira but that might change. He was vaguely familiar with the concept after being in Death City.*

The Watch is made up of guests who've arrived here in the city. We're more police. We watch over different districts in shifts to try to stop crimes.

It's also to keep a general watch over the city in case of witch attacks or kishin egg invasions.

[There is a short pause before his next reply comes.]

Alright, I'm interested. When and where is the next class?

We do. I have been to them.

We could use a man like you, yeah. How are you holding up over her going, though?

And how well would you say you've done at that? I've noticed some damage here and there, but the city mostly seems to be intact.

This Watch sounds interesting! I believe Gai-sensei is a part of it. I think I would enjoying joining it as well!

I'll be all right. It's kind of strange. We usually just annoyed each other on Yuna's pilgrimage. I actually got to know her more while we were both here.

Everyone's managed to rally together. There was a recent attack by the witches and a few people got taken away. So we went to rescue them.
