[after being escorted out of Shibusen (he's particularly glad he was going down the steps, rather than up...) and after the tour around Death City is finished, settling in his currently assigned place of residency seemed to be the best thing to do at the time. after a while, though, he figured that it'd be best to try and reach out to the others, as it was suggested; hopefully it'd help him figure out where to go from here...


so as the feed kicks on, there's a brief moment of wonder ('Is it on..?') before Vincent gives a slightly embarrassed smile]

Oh. Uhm, hello everyone... my name is Vincent Law. As you can probably tell, I'm new around here. I'm... hoping to help as much as I can with the war.

Introductions aside, I was wondering if someone could help me... I'm looking for someone. Her name is Re-l. She's tall and wears a lot of dark clothing... oh! And she wears blue eyeshadow around her eyes... [...he's refraining from saying how intimidating she looks too... oops] If anyone has seen her, please... I'd like to know.

P-Pino?! [surprised looks for everyone so far!!!] They brought you here too? [he's wondering, really, considering that she's only a companion-type model... though he's momentarily distracted with all the shaking and moving the camera is doing on the other end kflsjafa]

Pino... hey, calm down... [he freezes though when she mentions Re-l --] Re-l? So she is here? [... and she's going to be happy? that means... kfaslfskaf;lak oops, sorry he's blushing slightly for a moment]

What do you mean what took me so long? I didn't come here on my own...

Yep! Re-L's been here a lot longer though! I haven't been here very long!

That's no excuse! [But she's smiling, too happy to see him to bother holding up an illusion of being annoyed] I don't know where Re-L is right now, maybe at work? But I'm sure she'll come find you as soon as she can when she sees this!

[he blinks at that] She has? ... how long have you been here, Pino?

[there's an eye roll at that, but he smiles as well, glad to have a familiar face with him here.] I see... I can wait. If she really is busy, that is... [he pauses for a moment before moving on to the next topic]

Hey Pino... you remember how the man mentioned to us about being weapons or... meisters, right? What did he say you were? [he's curious ok...!]

Ummm... Pino has been here 6 days! [She nods lightly.]

Weapon! Re-L tried to show me what I turned into, but it didn't work. [She pushed Pino down the stairs.]

Oh, and I gotta soul! [pino drops the communicator and runs off screen for a few moments, then comes back with a folded piece of paper. She unfolds it and sits down again, holding it up proudly for Vince to see. It's a picture of her x-ray, showing the floating soul] See? See? It's not a virus! I have a soul!

[ Oh.... well, it seems as though her thought that with Pino came Vincent was true after all. It still takes her a few minutes to reel herself in before she responds to him, not wanting to seem too out of control of herself. because, hey, being emotional was lame and unnecessary even if you were seeing your traveling companions again after months and months of separation. ]

Yes, Vincent, I'm here.. You're a pain in the ass, you know that? It took you long enough to get here.

Did Pino already complain at you about that? [ She looks amused for a moment, rolling her eyes. And then: ] I suppose you've seen the picture of her soul, then, right?

[ Because god damn she showed it to absolutely every one. Re-l arranges a few papers on her desk, as if looking in to what she had to complete for the day before she could go to meet him. Technically, she'd probably be able to talk to Edgeworth and go right now, but she didn't like the idea of work going unfinished. ]

Where are you, Vincent? I still have work to complete, but soon I should be able to be done with what I need to have finished. ... If Raul is here we're going to have a lot to discuss, anyway..

[there's a sheepish laugh as he scratches his head] Yeah she did... [he laughs though, giving a nod at her second question] I could barely say anything before she went off to get the picture...

[it was cute though, so...!! he watches as she rearranges the papers, head tilting slightly; seems Pino was right about her being at work... he blinks at her question]

Huh? Oh, I'm in the apartment that they gave me... Casualty Communal? [he pauses briefly at the mention of Raul] Yeah... a lot to discuss...

She's been doing that to absolutely every one she meets since she arrived here. [ And that sigh says that Re-l's quickly coming to the end of her rope with the little autoreiv's shenanigans. Granted, that could happen after one incident of Pino watching her eat too closely on a bad day - but she'd gotten her aggression out kicking her down Shibusen's stairs the first day, so she was a little lenient for once. ]

I have a private apartment - you don't have to stay there with all of the new people. [ Did she make that sound voluntary? Because it isn't. It's basically an order to move in with her. ] Pino is there, if you can make your way, and I can be there maybe.. in an hour or so.
