[Cupid is examining a smoke-covered wall beneath a broken window in her apartment, expression set into a frown that she's trying very hard to keep from becoming a pout. She gives her mirror a strained smile and settles a hand on her hip with a sigh.]

I hate to see it, but I don't think the show is that great an idea this week, all things considered. Maybe next week, huh? That said, please remember that my private inbox is always open just in case.

[She pauses a second, then smiles wryly, running her fingers through her bangs idly.]

Also- um... Joshua, wasn't it? I guess they were paying more attention than we thought, huh?

[A sigh and she turns her attention to the rest of her apartment.]

If anyone needs me, I'm pretty sure I'm not going anywhere for a while.

[ Ghoulia deliberately steps on a piece of glass to bring attention to her presence. Looks like things didn't go well here at home, but there was only one thing to do: Clean. But first, a friendly greeting and offer. ]

[The delay between the crunch of glass and the next step lets Cupid know just it is before the other ghoul even speaks, and she turns to Ghoulia with a grateful smile.]

You don't know the half of it. The fire didn't do much, thankfully- but the smoke damage... Ugh.

There are various chemical mixes that have a particular talent for removing scents. [ She pauses. ] After scrubbing.
