YO, people of Death City! I got somethin' important to talk about.

I dunno how far word has spread, but I've been told by a few people now that there's this legendary sword who gives the users ultimate powers and can win this war. Dunno why no one's tried to find it yet -- but I've been lookin'! It ain't in the toilet of Keroro's shop, by the way, Luna.

[ Natsu holds up the LEGENDARY BOOK OF EXCALIBUR. Then he flips through to show a picture of the sword embedded in stone. ]

It's apparently in this cave. So here's what I'm thinkin'. We go get it. We take a day to prepare a team and then go out and get our hands on the weapon. Lots of us wanna go home, right? Shibusen needs us to win the war, right?

[ He taps the book's cover with his hand. ]

This is our best shot. Who's with me?

[He didn't really hear about an Excalibur and the most powerful weapon or whatever.]

If it can win the damn war, why hasn't anybody wielded it yet and just finished off all of these enemies by themselves?

[He wasn't buying this legend.]

'cause only the chosen one can wield it! Why else wouldn't they have gotten it? It's probably that no one was worthy of usin' it!

Chosen one? Hmmmm...

[As much as Winters didn't care to admit, there was a chance that somebody not of this world could wield it if there was nobody here good enough for it.

That was fucking sad and really pathetic. Not his call though. He shrugged.]

There's a possibility it could be somebody here...even if most of the people here are too chickenshit to fight. Or this could all just be a scam and Excalibur turns out to be a piece of crap after all. Hehe...but I know you're gonna go anyways to find out for yourself.

Of course I am! Now that I know where it is, I have to go!

You gonna come with? [ A pause. ] Y'can't kill it, though.

[ Natsu will probably change his tune once he meets the sword, though. ]

I suppose I could come along. I want to see it with my own eyes...this LEGEND.

[He chuckled.]

If it's so powerful then how would I be able to kill it?

Dunno, but I wouldn't put it past ya to try.

You know me a little too well, kid. How about I just give you my word that I'll TRY not to kill it?

Guess that's about as good as I can expect to get from ya.

It's the only thing you can expect from me in this situation.

Well, it's good t'have ya along anyway. Yugo wants to meet'cha and if Erza comes along, y'gotta meet her! She's one of my teammates from back home.

[ ...Erza and Winters. What a scary combination. ]

You must've told them nothing about me if they actually want to meet me.

[He sounded completely amused by this. Somebody actually WANTED to meet him?]

One of your teammates, hmm? What's she like?

[ What is Erza like? Natsu thinks of the best way to describe her. As he recalls all the times she's beat him, hurt him, towered over him menacingly, his expression crumbles and the only thing he can say is: ]

Scary.

[Because Winters was just the kindest man in the world, he can't help the next comment.]

Scared of a woman? Hehe...I've known only one I can actually tolerate and respect and she ain't here. What makes her scary?

....everything. I bet she could even take you down without breaking a sweat.

[ ....he probably shouldn't encourage a battle between those two. Death City wouldn't remain standing. ]

Is that so?

[Winters didn't know if he should be annoyed at being doubted or intrigued.]

Is she a weapon too?

Yeah, she is! And she's a sword too, actually.

Sounds like a challenge! We'll just see who the strongest is!
