[Rei looks incredibly sheepish when she turns the video on, running a hand through her hair. In her other hand is a little kitten that some might recognize from Duo's post before It seems to find nibbling on her fingers an agreeable past time, and Rei doesn't seem to mind]

I think I might need Cats Anonymous. I can't seem to resist anything cute and helpless... I'm going to become one of those women soon. [You know, crazy cat ladies or something. No one to talk to but her cats and the dog that looks like a loaf of bread]

This makes three cats and a dog so far. I might need to be stopped.

Ah, and I hope everyone who joined my photography class got their cameras and are practicing already. I'll be starting classes officially on Monday. It's not too late to sign up, either!

I don't suppose I could convince either of you to take one of my cats, could I?

[And on a more serious note as she lowers the kitten onto her lap] I'm sure you're already aware that someone else from your world arrived and was in the hospital. [...And now that she thinks about it, she never did get his name. Damn.] I just wanted to make sure he's okay. It was alright that I told him you were here, wasn't it?

[As nice as he'd seemed there was always the risk of him being an enemy, after all]

Assume that if your character would be interested, have seen the sign-up sheet by Rei's art gallery, and signed up-- OR if they talked to Rei and expressed an interest, that they've received a new camera from Rei! [Kotetsu's not quite sure what he's supposed to address first. Initially he'd been more than prepare to tease Rei about her lack of restraint with animals until she even went as far as to give them an offer of a pet, which he really had no idea what to do about. He'd never had a pet, and as far as he knew neither had Barnaby, but how was he meant to decline offering the poor little thing a home?

But then the second the serious tone had slipped into her voice and she'd brought up Legend... Kotetsu's own mood immediately plummeted just a bit, and he found himself worrying all over again over the man still in the hospital. Smiling slightly, a little strained, he nodded.]

Uh, we'd have to think about the cat. Now probably isn't a good time to decide on a pet.

Don't worry, it's fine. We know about him already. Bunny and I went to go see him yesterday as soon as he showed up. He's, not in good condition... but, I think he'll be fine. ['He has to be', is what Kotetsu wants to say, because it's Legend, but it's just as difficult to think than to say.]

[Barnaby raises an eyebrow. Why all the pets? He can understand the idea between one or two but four is overkill. And taking one of her cats? BIG OL' NOPE.]

Unfortunately, I think we live too busy a lifestyle to properly raise a cat, so leaving it in our care may not be the best idea. But we could help you find a new home for one of them.

[And she gets that sweet and probably ridiculously fake smile for a brief moment before his expression turns serious.]

As for the man at the hospital, like my partner said, he will be fine. The doctors are sure he'll make a smooth, if long, recovery. His injuries weren't particularly kind to him, but they said he'll pull through as long as they don't run into any serious complications along the way.

I'd like to sign up, please! I don't really know much about cameras at all, but taking pictures with your friends is so much fun! So wouldn't it be great if I learnt how to take even better ones?
