[Truly brilliant. Next he'll be fiddling with the video... aaaand there it goes. SUDDENLY IT IS VIDEO. Hiccup blinks and he flinches back away from the communicator before leaning in toward it, clearly fascinated.]

[He grins a little and leans back.]

Sorry! Sorry, I just... um. I'm trying to figure the communicator... thing... out. Um. I kind of come from a time when we didn't have like. Anything you've got here so... yeah. Figuring stuff out! Super fun times. Woo.

Anyway. I'm Hiccup, hi. Yes, that is my name.

Um. So... uh. [HE WASN'T PLANNING ON BROADCASTING WHAT DO] So what do you guys do around here? I mean I know there's a war going on... or something... but how does that actually work? Do we get attacked a lot? And what do you do when that isn't happening? The city is waaaay different from Berk, so... I'm kind of lost here.

I know I'm kind of asking a lot of questions and I'm sorry but. Yeah. Confused. So. Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

Was it your parents who named you?

Yeah. But it's kind of a thing to name people crazy names in my village. Originally the idea was to have scary names to frighten off monsters but I think somewhere along the line people kind of forgot what a terrifying name sounded like.

So. Hiccup.

At least it's not Fishlegs.

[Inukashi laughed joyfully at that. Well, it's been a while since someone told him an entertaining story]

Ahah, yeah. I guess you could have been named worst things.

I'm Inukashi. Tho I wasn't really named... that's what people call me when they want to have a business with me. It means "rents dogs".
