I have a question for those that have been here for a considerable amount of time: Just how frequently does BREW bring in new faces?
[ he doesn't really have a clue, considering he's only been around for two cycles of them. ]
Other than this, I have been reading up on a few things regarding human culture. Actually, I was looking for something to perhaps encourage more park visitors, and thus I began reading about different times of events. Presently, I'm open to a few ideas, if anyone feels like providing them.

You already know. Is not relevant, and will only depress both. Would very much like some of Rosa's grubloaf, though.

I arrived about thirty or so nights ago, so I haven't been here too long.

[If he hadn't seen anyone familiar, would probably have flipped shit worse than did.]
Do you know average duration of stay? Have seen mentions on network of people leaving.

[ he shakes his head. they are going to head to the cafe, though. Signless doesn't think ingesting greasy and solid food is wise. better stick things like breads and soups. ]
Some stay for months and others for weeks. BREW doesn't seem to have any pattern for it.
ACTION
[It's so frustrating, and everything suddenly threatens to become overwhelming: humans everywhere, the noise, unfamiliar smells. Psii tugs at SS's arm, silently asking him to slow down.]

[ pushing the pride button. he slows in his walking though, supporting his friend. ]

Would be easier with powers. [He says it sulkily, but challenge accepted.]
But can solve this problem even with buggy mind.
ACTION
[ back to teasing. this walk is taking too long, but what more can he do? he's more or less playing the crutch here. ]

[It also stings Psii's pride that his body is so weak and slow, and he tries to walk faster, and fights the urge to apologize again.]
Am not picky about human food. Anywhere will do.
ACTION
[ grinning. because he never would. it's still nice to have a bratty thought once and a while. still. the cafe can be seen now and that's what matters here. ]
As for food... I'm trying to think of what will settle on your stomach best.

[He completely trusts SS's judgment in this, anyway.]
Maybe should have party for all missed Twelfth Perigee's Eves, and can all make big deal about you.
[Is that a little smirk? Maybe.]

[ just will smile sweetly. almost TOO sweetly, best friend. ]
If we do that, then we should celebrate all of the wriggling days you have missed. Cake and all.

[That is a small laugh.]

Are there that many different flavors in human food?

SS, how... [He wants to ask before they go in, while they still have relative privacy.] How are you not angry all the time?
[Psii could be, if he let himself.]

I should be, hmm? There are times where I am so livid that I could scream.
But what good does it do? There are better things that I can be doing with that energy. Being upset and raising my fist to the world doesn't change anything.
[ he pauses, giving a small and yet sad smile. ]
That's the answer I would like to give, but I'm not that strong. The only thing that offsets this slowly burning resentment is the fact you are all here with me now. As long as the rest of you are with me... When there's still hope for a better future with these young ones... I feel at peace.
ACTION
[Is too new for Psii, still too raw. SS has had time to process what happened in their world. And he's always been able to find balance without careening from one extreme to another.]
Know would accomplish nothing to be angry here, but. Feel like have suppressed too much for too long, and don't know how it will explode, or when.
ACTION
If you need to let it out, then let it out. Just remember to try to get a hold of me before it starts so that I can be there for you.

[Dryly, but there's both truth and gratitude in it, and Psii's holding back a little smile at the hair-ruffle. He wondered at home, too, how SS put up with him. He reaches for the door himself now, and tugs it open.]
Enough of being depressing. Am ready for human food input.

Just pick somewhere you'd like to sit and I'll order.

[Psii finds a seating cubicle in a corner, where he can sit with his back to the wall. Is just like SS to still be taking care of his family, even in world that is strange and different.
He's glad last comment drew a laugh. Worries has lost knack of interacting with other trolls.]
