Recently I was introduced to a practice that does not exist in my home world.
Said practice is 'marriage' and I became rather curious about it. Someone suggested to me that I read some wedding planning books or romance novels to learn more about it. I asked one of the sales person at the nearby bookstore for their most popular romance novels.
[At this point there is a very long pause in Disciple's reading as she tries to find a way to put this politely. She was pretty certain what she had been reading in these books was exaggerated, or some weird fetish fulfillment but what if it wasn't and she just ended up insulting a bunch of people?]
I
[And there she stops again]
am confused. By a lot of things I have read in these books and would like clarification on some things so I do not go off with the wrong ideas of the romantic practices of humans. I'd rather not go into detail about what I have read in some of these books since I understand we have some young ones with access to this network, so if someone could just tell me about marriage and the human quadrant system I would be much obliged.

When the relationship is formed, it depends on the couple again. If a pair wishes to be together, it doesn't matter what they do or how they express themselves to the other. At least, it shouldn't matter. I often see couples exchanging gifts or going on 'dates'.
Text
Do humans only pair by male and female?

[Ahh, her tail wags at the thought]
Text - sdfhuih ammy xD
Bosoms are ind33d nice.
I had noticed this pattern before but it struck me as so strange that I felt a bit silly about bringing it up, certain it was just coincidence. Yet you say it is frowned upon. I suppose you can't venture a guess as to why that is?
Text - What :3
LJKAHSjlks off of wonderful breasts for a moment, I'm afraid I can't. My land wasn't like this. Male and females came together really for means of copulation and while there were those who did love each other, I know the Empress was probably trying to hide something from me with the Priestess.
Ah, I getting off again. I have noticed males teasing other males for being in a relationship with someone of the same gender. For some reason, not much is said to females in the same sense. It must be part of this masculine order and their gaze upon the other gender. It could have something to do with human beliefs.

Now that we have broached the subject, however, I am equally curious about you and where you come from, Ammy. If you do not mind, could you tell me more about it?
Text
Yes I can, but I might end up prattling on! There's so much to say about it. Is that alright?

[It's takes a minute, but soon, there's an image being sent to Disciple. Sumi-e style, but that's what the goddess is use to.]
Text
What a gorgeous picture. You have quite the talent, Ammy, and what a beautiful place that is.

It must have b33n a difficult job, having to protect so many. How did you and yours manage?

That's
quite a responsibility. They are all grown?

I am sorry to hear that. I think I would have liked to m33t them.
[She also wonders if she should say something comforting along the lines of BREW possibly bringing them here, but she's not sure if Ammy would prefer them to be home or here in this warzone.]

You aren't unhappy, are you?
