Recently I was introduced to a practice that does not exist in my home world.

Said practice is 'marriage' and I became rather curious about it. Someone suggested to me that I read some wedding planning books or romance novels to learn more about it. I asked one of the sales person at the nearby bookstore for their most popular romance novels.

[At this point there is a very long pause in Disciple's reading as she tries to find a way to put this politely. She was pretty certain what she had been reading in these books was exaggerated, or some weird fetish fulfillment but what if it wasn't and she just ended up insulting a bunch of people?]

am confused. By a lot of things I have read in these books and would like clarification on some things so I do not go off with the wrong ideas of the romantic practices of humans. I'd rather not go into detail about what I have read in some of these books since I understand we have some young ones with access to this network, so if someone could just tell me about marriage and the human quadrant system I would be much obliged.

Her expression become something rather sly and she steps very close to him and angles her head to look him straight in the eye.

[Well he wasn't the only one who had been thinking of using that exact same tactic. Disciple is momentarilly thrown that he initiated it, but she recovers quickly and is far from ready to admit defeat.

Her hands curl around his and she returns the kiss with equal vigor. Her small fangs brush against his bottom lip and she gives it a gentle tug, all the while walking forward in an attempt to corner him against the nearest wall.]

[ of course she would have thought to do it too. he just beat her is all.

but eh no. not going to budge on the walking backwards thing. instead maybe just start to slip down to the floor. pulling her down with while pinning those arms of hers behind her back. yeap.

[Hum~ The floor works just as well and she is all too happy to following him down to it.

Invested as she was in their little game, Disciple couldn't help but wonder if Sollux was about or if they should take this to a better location but desire overrode logic and when he pinned her arms behind her back she knew she was going to have to amp this up.

She shifted towards him, pulling herself onto his lap and broke the kiss so that she could trace her lips across his cheek, and then down towards his neck]
