Just a, uh... quick question to the other Weapons here.

I've already tried looking things up on this, but I'm just a bit wary about trusting some of the material.

Weapons get stronger by collecting souls, right? Eating them... basically. I've heard that there was an alternative and Weapons could choose to not collect them, but-

What happens to the souls that we do collect? And can we still get stronger if we choose not to... do that?

We always have a choice. It doesn't matter what world we're in, we don't have to do anything we don't believe in.

[He listens to her though and is quiet for a moment, brow furrowing as her words chill him slightly. After a little silence, he tilts up his chin.]

Are you talking about experimenting on them?

Examining them. Trying to figure out if they're really what Shibusen makes them out to be and find out if eating them is truly the best thing for them.

I don't want to do... experiments that could harm them. I don't want to hurt them.

[Well, that makes him feel better. He nods slowly, resting his chin on his fingers in thought.]

I want to figure it out but it's hard to imagine trying to contain a Kishin Egg without hurting it. And even if we did catch one, where could it ever be kept in this place? They have cameras everywhere...

... I don't know.

[She thought on it for a second, but Holiday is still new to the city. She didn't know that many places around here.]

I'm going to have to take a proper look around. In a city this size, there's likely some abandoned buildings somewhere that aren't being monitored...

[And Six would be able to tell if they were or not. Though, she should even tell him about this or not? He liked Kid a lot... She wasn't sure yet.]

[After a moment, he tilts his head at her.]

I know some places where the cameras don't reach. I had a friend show me them once.

[His eyes flash a little as he looks at her discerningly.]

This isn't someone I'd tell just anyone though. Any reason I should trust you?

[She's quiet for a long moment.]

None that I can think of... It's just- My home is tainted and corrupt enough. I don't want to aid to more suffering.

I may have to for my Meister's sake, but... [She just stays quiet this time. It's hard to come up with a reason when she's just speculating about things she barely knows anything about.]

[He relents a little, shrugging and offering a wry smile.]

There's probably no reason anyone here should trust each other. But... I believe you. There's not a lot of reasons you'd take on all this if it wasn't what you really believed in.

[Oh right, because they haven't introduced themselves...]
