I've been thinking, lately, about something I experienced back in the place where I was born..
If you could meet yourself as a child…
Would she/he be proud of you?
What kind of excuse would you say to excuse the things you've done or the person you've become?
[text]
I was thinking on.. not someone who is young enough to not grasp that things happen that aren't necessarily what we approve of. Nine or ten years old, maybe. Old enough to understand that life isn't always an easy thing.

Of course. Just like some answer the question and others avoid it.

The answer will also depend on what point in time the child comes from. A nine-year-old is nine, after all, for a full year. Anything can happen within that time frame.

Yes, but mulling over the capability of any certain nine to ten year old, as well the changing ability of any one certain life event, to understand anything can be spoken about in circles for hours. Which isn't really something I intend to debate.
So are you going to answer or continue dancing around it? I'm rather obstinate.

In a sense, I have already given my answer.
I would either be proud of myself as I am now, or detest how I have grown up, or simply question the path I have taken.
