I'm sure we all have a 'bucket' list of things we'd like to do sometime in our lives before we die. This place certainly gives us opportunities to cross items off it, such as getting to visit other continents.

On the other hand, it also presents us with things we'd never believed would ever happen to us - the whole manner of our arrival and subsequent submersion into this war aside.

[Akiha is back from her mission in Brazil and she's not terribly happy with how it went.]

For example, I can now claim that I have been eaten by a giant slug. Allow me to cross that off my list. I've always wanted to have to kill something while inside its stomach and then cut my way out. [/sarcasm]

That said, can anyone recommend a hair stylist here? I need to take a few inches off thanks to stomach acid. [Or whatever it was.]

[She pulls back after a moment and fiddles with the necklace, giving Akiha a smile.]

While you did not have to get these things for me, I do appreciate it. ....even if this outfit is inappropriate, if you would like me to wear it sometime, I shall.

[Akiha tucks her hair behind her ear and tries to make her blush go away.]

It's not inappropriate; it looks good and you need some clothes that are casual.

[Sion wasn't going to compromise on that, no matter how 'normal' it was.]

Just give me that.

[Akiha took a half-step back to look Sion over as subtly as she could.]

I'll give you that. D-do you like the necklace?

[Sion gingerly touches the necklace at Akiha's mention of it.]

Of course. I doubt I will do anything but treasure it.

[ritsu_kouyou]

[Her hand moves of its own accord toward the necklace, brushing against Sion's.]

You will? [She blinks and then looks up into Sion's eyes.] I mean... of course, you will.

This is the first gift someone has given me. [Aside from clothes/housing/etc. This is a gift gift.]

I must treat it properly.

That makes me think I should have given you a gift sooner. [She gently takes Sion's hand in her own.]

[Her hand encompasses Akiha's. But right now, she didn't want to let go of her.]

...you must be tired from your trip.

[With Akiha's hand in hand, she pulls her over to the bed.]

[Akiha lets herself be tugged, sitting down on the bed.]

Yes. Not only was the fight hard, resonating with Haruno was a lot harder than with you. Taxing to say the least.

You can rest in my bed, in that case.

[Sion sat down beside her and patted an area for Akiha to lay down at. It was a single person bed, obviously, but two people could squeeze onto it.]

[ritsu_kouyou]

[Akiha looks at the spot and smiles.]

I'll most definitely rest well here with you.

[She laid down and freed her hair from underneath her. She pulled the pillow to her and settled in. She kind of missed the giant stuffed dinosaur in her own room to hold onto, but the pillow smelled like her partner. It was relaxing...]

[Sion really didn't want to let go of Akiha. So she took a spot on the bed too and wrapped herself around her partner, for once, not being stingy with physical contact.]

[Oh, oh, oh... that was... just right. Akiha shifted a bit to get comfortable with Sion holding her. She reached back to pull Sion's braid over her, gently coiling the end about her hand - not too tight to pull on her partner's hair.

She gave a content little sigh before closing her eyes.]
