[This evening finds Cupid on her couch again, a box settling into view in the corner of the feed while she makes herself comfortable.]

Wow, okay so- shopping for other people? Totally exhausting.

[As she speaks, she opens up the pastry box in front of her and withdraws a ridiculously decadent-looking cupcake, leaning back on her sofa and crossing her legs primly.]

Feels excellent helping them bring their wardrobe up to speed from whatever the last fashion era they got stuck in was, though.

[Not to mention she gets to dress people up all day. Score!]

But I've been thinking- since I got here, really- that helping people out with their issues might be why I'm here. Soooo...

What would everyone think of a little matchmaking? For people looking for Partners as well as people looking for romance- since really, they're both about compatibility to one degree or another. I'd have to make up some forms and stuff, of course, but I figured I should throw it out there, and see what everyone thinks...!

On top of that- would anyone be interested in an advice broadcast? I figure it'd be possible to broadcast over the network maybe once a week- folks can mail in questions for me to answer on-air, or just call in and ask live! What do you say? Good ideas or no?

[Though really, she'll probably wind up doing them regardless. She sits up a little straighter after a moment's pause though, and leans forward.]

Well obviously- but I don't think most people would refer to eating things as a hobby.

Well, I mean- there's always food critics, but those guys are just rude.

They're paid to not only objectively analyze the quality of other people's work, but to ingest it and make it a part of them. I'd be rude, too, with that kind of job.

Hobbies, by the way, differ from jobs. I eat on my own time.

True, but some of them just enjoy tearing people down, no matter how good they are.

And yeah, I'm aware. Some food critics actually do enjoy eating outside of their jobs you know. Otherwise, they probably would have picked something else to begin with.

If someone is kind enough to cook for me, I don't tear them down. The worst I'll do is add more sugar, if it isn't sweet enough.

I enjoy fruit, too...

It does kind of ruin the surprise.

When a death is as sudden as mine was, one doesn't really have time to appreciate the surprise, anyway.

Technically, I haven't, but it was moments away and confirmed by others after I arrived here. So I suppose it still counts.

I don't think it counts if you haven't, even if you know you're gonna. I mean, it's kind of an inevitability with most normies.

I don't think the expiration date is quite as pressing, in most cases, but I see your point.
