[There was something to be said for interesting technology; what the was Dwight could care less. He was, so far as he was concerned, being dragged along to someone else's plans once again. This time no one bothered to ask if he was even interested.
Yeah. Not happy. Interested…but not happy.
Which shows as he manages to switch the video feed on, showing DEMISE a rather grumpy looking blond.]
Look…I get the idea that this place needs help. I’m not blaming anyone for that. But. Could it have hurt to ask before randomly dumping me in a dark room with a headache? I would’ve even been reasonable about gas money.

[Which is annoying, because if he went back, he'd be a walking time paradox.]
What did you do, in your world?
Re: [voice | private]
[It makes like interesting?]
I fixed things. Clean things up...maybe a few deliveries. Nothing much, really.
[LIES]

I had some people like that.
Re: [voice | private]
We're pretty handy sometimes. Especially when people need a new door every other weekend.
Main storms are pretty harsh come fall.

[Yes, Mello approves.]
Before I ask if you have any questions for a veteran, read this.
[He sends a link to the FAQ he didn't have time to post for this round of new imports.]
Re: [voice | private]
I don't think I'd want to picture that.
[Though a big city would make cover ups way easier. And there's going to be a small bit of silence while he reads. He's a fast one though so not too long later.]
So. Not getting thrown down a stairwell. I'll figure that out on my own.
...that madness wave though. That really the only surefire way to beat that thing?
[voice | private]
The stairs thing does work, most of the time. I still don't recommend it.
And that's the only way I know to fight the madness wavelength, unless you happen to be inherently resistant.
Re: [voice | private]
[Briefly wonders if there's another version of Have, Maine.]
I'll figure something out. Weird solutions tend to work for me.
Perfect...time to look for a partner.
[Which is weird because it has been several years since he's worked so close with anyone.]
