I'm sitting at the mission board and I wouldn't mind taking one of these investigation missions, but I need to go with a Weapon. Anyone interested? Of course, I'm open to something unconventional, but have a little difficulty with these 'firearms'.

This always seems to be a problem. Perhaps someone has a suggestion on how to go about getting a permanent Weapon too? And no, nothing like stop being fluffy. That's a little difficult at the moment. But maybe the lack of hands is something to turn people away. Of all the times to not have thumbs.

Oh right. Some of the citizens and guests were kidnapped a while ago and taken to the Underground Caverns. There was a machine amplifying Madness in the area. Also, the Witches were brainwashing some people while feeding the rest to Kishin eggs. It was a rescue mission for us.

Oh, geez... that's awful! Are you sure it's safe for just two people to go down there?

We'll be alright. If it's anything other than Kishin eggs there, we'll be able to get away easier just the two of us.

Guess you have a point- the more people you have to worry about, the harder it is to stay stealthy. Good luck then, I hope there isn't anything really terrible down there.

My thoughts exactly. I can't use any of my powers right now and without a normal Weapon, I still can't fight against a Witch.

How strong are witches, exactly?

If I have to scale them, they would be a seven? There affiliation with a single animal gives them so much magic, but they can fly and other various abilities like that.

So basically they're really, really dangerous, huh?
