[ 03: May 10th, 2 AM | Video ] (Now with the right date!)
[The feed begins, the angle revealing the front of a shop with a sign reading Yesterday's Magic. The view is perfect... deliberately so, the light of the moon casting a silvered light against the cobble, wood and metal, a fog (dust from the desert?) hanging in the air. A pair of figures are moving quickly from off-camera, approaching the front of the shop and inspecting it before setting down a sack.]
--face when she found it? She just about shit!
Sshh! Help me get this set up. I can't see a thing in this crap.
[The two figures hunch down and get to work, crowding around the sack. But as the fog began to build, the two begin muttering their frustrations. It's getting harder to see, and since when was there fog like this in a desert? But there's a flash of light, a brief wisp of fire, and something rising presumably from the ground in front of the shop; a slender figure wrapped in a black cloak with the hood drawn, too tall to be human. The moment they notice, the two immediately spring back.]
Thou hast summoned me...
What the hell's that thing!?
But thou hast offered an insufficient blood sacrifice... a curse upon thee for thy insult! [The voice that comes from the figure is deep and distorted.]
'Sacrifice'? 'Curse'!?
Oh... oh god... the chickens, dude! I think it called some shit up!
So send it back or something!
HOW, dumbass!?
A curse upon your eyes and of those you hold dear! May insects crawl and feast behind your eyelids! May your ears be forever filled with the buzz of their wings! Let it be but a temporary repentance until the agony grows too strong to bear... and I will come to ensure a blood debt repaid!
[The pair seems unsure of what to do, frozen in place, until from the sleeves of the cloak grow long, twisted fingers as the figure draws in closer and reaches for them. The distorted voice rises in a strange language, words in a rolling staccato that grew louder and louder as the two decide they don't wish to be cursed and scatter, screaming, with the figure hot on their trail. Listeners familiar with Old Norse might recognize a recitation of the Lord's Prayer and little more. For a full minute there is nothing but the foggy storefront, and shouting in the air that faded off into the distance.]
Really, now? Pathetic...
[But then the ghoul returns, stopping to chuckle. When the hood was pulled back, a bespectacled human face is revealed, grinning like a devil as a small mouthpiece was pulled away from his lips. As the figure has to all but clutch his stomach as he doubles over laughing, the video ends.]
[ooc: Red font is, of course, this jerk.]

...that was sweet of you to do.
[A confused blink.]
Really? Why?
Nevertheless, I've accomplished what I needed.
And hey, it was a better thing to do than just beating people up. They'll probably think twice before trying anything like that again.
I never asked for help, least of all from you!
Well, she probably won't admit it, but she'll probably think it's sweet too.
[voice | before knowing anyone's missing]
[Mello sounds more amused than impressed, but he's both.]

[voice]
There was no doubt that they would begin a streak for as long as they successfully terrorized their target.
[...Only half luck. There's a difference!]
[voice]
It's too bad that tactic isn't more widely applicable. I suspect the assholes who attacked the Agency think they've made their point, and most will never be identified.
[voice]
[voice]
video; same applies as above (aka before abduction plot stuff)
I can't believe they actually fell for that. [ But despite the deadpan, she's a little relieved. She doesn't want people to do worse things to her friend's shop. ]

Hopefully they won't be thinking any delinquent thoughts for a long time after this. Bravo.
[Audio]
Thanks for doing that.
[Normally he's not one for deception but in this case, at least the man in glasses managed to avoid an actual fight. And hopefully those other two won't be back any time soon.
Yuugi has totally committed their voices, mannerisms, and what he saw of their faces to memory just in case.]
