I want a job.

I have never interviewed for one, but I've typed up a resume and I am a very fast learner. There are too many hours in the day, I've found, and as soon as I possibly can, I want to start working.

Also, I want to take on a mission with my partner before mid-February, so any guidance in that department on a regular basis would be much appreciated, in addition to the regular training that Shibusen offers.

Why do you think the conventional partnership has always been with a meister and a weapon? The energy amplification effect that happens during resonance between a meister and a weapon is nearly nonexistent between two weapons, no matter how compatible your souls might be. You'll get yourself killed the moment you step out to challenge a kishin egg.

Yes, I am sure that certainly goes for most normal Weapons and Meisters.

[He says the word "normal" almost derisively. Normal is average, unremarkable, and boring, and he and Light are worlds apart from such ordinary individuals.]

It goes for all weapons. Correct your misconceptions, because thinking in that manner is the first step down certain failure. First of all, there are only two distinctions that matter for weapons--normal weapons, and deathscythes, and you most certainly fall in the first category.

You don't know us, so you could be forgiven for not innately knowing that we are supposed to work together. We always have been. Working apart is not an option.

I don't care if you were best friends back in your world. Just because you're supposed to work together doesn't mean you'll be compatible here, and neither will it save you from getting into serious trouble should you decide to go into battle against our enemies wielding each other. Work together, in a team of four, if you absolutely must, but you need meisters. I cannot stress this enough!

I've injured Meisters who have tried to wield me. I've made them bleed. I've made myself bleed. I need a Meister like a snail needs a salt bath.

That is just feedback. [dismissively] It happens when your souls are incompatible. There are more or less a hundred guest meisters currently registered with Shibusen, you should find one you're compatible with if you look hard enough.
