['Keep calm'... that's what the video said. But he's anything -but- calm. With a fist slamming down on the counter, he finally lets it sink in. His jaw's tight and his eyes are steely.]

Some son of a bitch took Naoto!

[Then he turns his head away.]

And whoever did it must've taken Yako-san and Cupid, too. Damn it...! How did-!?

[He's at a loss. He's searched every part of Death City that he knew, but nothing turned up. He seems to have forgotten he was recording then, as his fists are balled his knuckles are turning a little white.]

Why the hell didn't I offer to walk with her to work...!?

[Then he'd shift to get up. His eyes couldn't help but stray to the door in the hall he knew led to an unoccupied bedroom, his mind then going on to what he knew had to be an awful place... she had to be sleeping there right now. Damn it...]

Door's on the left. I got an extra pillow if y'want it... [Spoken mainly just to hear himself talk right now.]

[This doesn't go unnoticed by Amaterasu. She shook her head at the pillow; she'd be find without it. Thank you for the offer though. There's a step to the left, but she paused to wait for him.]

[He pushed himself to his feet and followed after her. A little nap... maybe just a short one. He'll feel a little better afterward and then he can figure out if he missed something important.]

[Amaterasu trotted along after him to the room. The bed does look big enough and she'll curl herself on the unoccupied side at the foot while-- oh, there's the cat.]

Uh- don't mind her. [Absently throwing his communicator and things onto the bedstand. Iza gave a short 'mrr' as she was woken up, unfocused green eyes turned toward the much larger wolf. With a wide, fangy yawn, she was all ready hopping up and looking for a very fluffy spot on Ammy's back to curl up onto. Takuto's pup, Firecracker, had her so used to dogs by now, but this one... this one was much different, and made her think of her own mama.]

O...kay... she was in a weird mood earlier today, but I guess she got over it.

[Mind her? She loves cats! Amaterasu watched with some amusement as Iza hopped onto her back and settled herself on the biggest patch of white near the scruff of the goddess's neck and curled up. Her tail swung over the covers as she gave the kitten a nudge with her nose.]

[Though sleepy, Iza was happy to turn and give the doggie snout a few licks, half to groom and half out of appreciation. Really, the boy's been fussing himself to death today.

Kanji, on the other hand, just didn't bother changing, falling back into bed and letting himself lie. He'll just catch a few hours' sleep if he can grab them, but he couldn't let himself completely laze around if there's still something he could do!]

[What can be done? Panicking like this was something humans did often. She gave Iza a few licks back, more so to groom the kitten, but also to say welcome.]

[Ammy glanced over at Kanji as he flopped down and then back at Iza. Might be a good idea to lay on him, wouldn't it?]

[Iza's tail gave a little twitch. Yes, let's.

Wouldn't be the first time, anyway. Most mornings saw Kanji with a gray and white fuzz boa, if not a furry little hat nestled just atop his head. It got cold in the morning, so why not pile on the human furnace?]

[A single nod and Ammy began shuffling on the bed closer, careful to keep Iza balanced on her back.]

[Once she was in the right position, she all but sprawled over Kanji's back. This would certainly be enough to keep him down.]

[Well he can't get up, but wolf goddesses responsible for the sun are warm and fluffy. ...He is fine with this.]
