[the distant sound of tapping can be heard as sugata murmurs quietly to himself. looks like he's too lost in thought to realize that his fingers accidentally slipped and hit the ever sensitive button on the mirror device.]

I can safely rule out being stuck in Zero Time. I think I can also safely say that I'm not at home either... With all the secrets the island has, I'm sure this would have been found sooner or later. [after a few moments of silence soft laughter can be heard.] It seems as if I've found a way to escape the inevitable. However I need to find--

[another pause. ah, looks like whoever was speaking finally realized that he was being recorded. the blue haired boy ducks out of view just to be on the safe side. after all he doesn't know what he pressed to activate it!]

Ah, hmm... As interesting as this place seems, I find myself tied to other obligations. Is there a way to return home? I was in the middle of something very important and I need to get back as soon as possible. [he pauses once more as he gives a small sigh. Well... now that this thing is on, might as well give it a shot...]

And if anyone knows or has seen a Takuto Tsunashi or a Wako Agemaki, please let me know. Takuto has red hair and red eyes and Wako has blonde hair and brown eyes.

[he looks down at the puppy with uncertainty. he was alright being around dogs for brief intervals, but actually living with a dog? this was going to be an interesting experience. he was about to reach down and pet the dog on the head, but decided against it. his outfit could kind of be intimidating to a tiny puppy after all, and he'd rather walk away from this experience without getting bitten.]

What an adorable name, did you pick it out yourself? [he looks over at takuto with a smug smile and with that he heads straight to the other's room. finding something he could wear for the moment was a bit.... pressing. as he's searching for something decent to wear he passes by the other's ginga bishounen uniform. his hand stills on it as he takes a moment to look at it. a small frown graces his lips as he notices the rips and tears. hopefully he wasn't the cause of that. shaking his head he continues rifling through the clothes until he finds something decent enough to wear.

he then slips out of his peacock monstrosity and into the outfit he picked out. when he's done he steps out of the room even more self conscious than before. he isn't really used to wearing such form fitting clothing after all.]

Sorry it took me a while to find something. You have a lot of red shirts. [not that that wasn't a bad thing! but he didn't want something that'd clash horribly with his blue hair and all.]

[He frowns a little at Sugata. He had the distinct impression his friend was making fun of him and his dog.] I did. The person I got him from didn't give him one.

[And then he waits for Sugata to finish metamorphosing from a Crux member to a regular best friend again, sitting on the couch and idly scratching Firecracker behind the ears.

Firecracker is a good name for a dog. What is Sugata even talking about.

He looks up when Sugata returns.] Red is my favorite color, though. [At least Sugata looks slightly less ridiculous wearing Takuto's clothes than he did in the peacock thing.]

[yeah for a firehouse dog, or something. though it is a rather cute name.... so he will give takuto that. he tugs a little at the hem of the shirt he's in.] Still, it wouldn't help to have a little variety.

[tauborn]

[There are white shirts and even a black shirt!]

At least I don't have a dead peacock for clothes. [And this is why Sugata will never win any arguments over style.]

So, did you want a look around the city? Are you hungry? Or... actually, what was happening before you came here?

[He's kind of surprised he didn't ask that last question sooner. It was kind of obvious what Sugata had been up to, but in that kind of situation specifics were best.]

[well they need to me more easier to find! he rolls his eyes a little at the comment but doesn't say or do anything else as he walks towards the couch. he falters a little as he stops in front of the couch. he looks to the side.]

I'm not hungry, and we can look around the city in a little while. [he knows he should look takuto straight in the eye, but he just.... can't bring himself to do so at this moment in time.] I was in the middle of sealing Samekh away.

[tauborn]

[Takuto, on the other hand, has had quite a long time to try to come to terms with Sugata's business with Samekh and stares at his best friend flatly.]

Idiot. [And then a grin spreads across his face.] I think this means I'm from the future for you, then.

[He knows something and you dooon't~]

I was doing what I needed to do. [he is a little taken aback by the idiot comment tho. after what felt like an eternity, he finally looks over at takuto.] What does that mean?

[tauborn]

BREW can bring people to Death City from any point in time. So even though I came here before you, I was brought from a point after you.

[He appraises Sugata thoughtfully.] I can tell you how that went, you know. With Samekh. Or... maybe it's that I can tell you how that will go?

[peacocked]

Right. [that much he knew already thanks to his conversation with Chika. he hesitates a little before moving to sit next to takuto. somehow he has a feeling he's going to be needing to sit down in a couple of minutes.]

And how exactly does that pan out?

[tauborn]

[Firecracker can't resist crawling up onto the couch and snuggling between the two boys.]

You didn't really think Wako or I would let you do that, did you?

[peacocked]

[his eyes widen momentarily as he takes the information in. he.... can't really blame them for trying to stop him. it had been a little foolish on his part to believe that they'd be okay with him just tossing away his life for them. but he wanted things to be alright for them. he knew that sealing samekh away would definitely put an end to this war without anyone else getting hurt.]

I suppose not, no. But I wanted to provide you two with a better future.

[tauborn]

[He shakes his head slowly, still watching Sugata with a warm smile.]

It's not a better future if you're not there to enjoy it with us. Don't try to do anything like that ever again, okay?

[peacocked]

No, I guess it isn't. But... [he puts his hands up in defeat as he slinks down into the couch.] Alright, I'll try.

[though, thinking on it now the only thing that could get samekh to jump out of his control would be if-- wako. he sits up quickly and looks over at takuto.] Is she alright?

[tauborn]

[Takuto stares down Sugata. "I'll try" may not actually be a good enough answer. There were plenty of opportunities for people to do stupid things in and around Death City--which Takuto knew from personal experience--and now that Sugata was here, he just wanted his friend to not get any sacrificial ideas. Ever.

But he blinks a little at the question.] You mean Wako? Of course she is. [Do you really expect anything less from Takuto?

Though, he did break your fiancée's maiden seal.]

[peacocked]

[he does mean it though! and it's better than him saying he will just to appease takuto. he's at least going to try to not be such a sacrificial lamb anymore.

he gives a tiny sigh of relief as he sinks back into the couch.]

Good. [because if she wasn't you're probably gonna have a lot of explainin' to do mister! and he knows bro.] So.... I guess I'm ready to be shown around.

[tauborn]

[Hey, you have to admit that being able to leave the island with Yako is much better than locking yourself away with Samekh for eternity. You should let Takuto make all of your important decisions for you from now on. Except that is an absolutely horrible idea.

He nods, standing up from the couch and heading towards the door to grab Firecracker's leash. He might as well take the puppy for a walk at the same time. Firecracker realizes exactly what time it is and jumps off the couch and starts dancing in excitement at Takuto's feet.]

Alright. Just remember to be careful of all the rioters--don't wave your communicator around and try to act casual.

[Though, there really was no way Takuto with his ginga hair is ever going to blend in to the normal populace.]

[but takuto, he was proving a point with his whole schpeal about doing things you want to do and doing things you have to do. and omg no don't even get him thinking about spending time with the two of you outside the island. 8( not fair takuto, not fair at allll.

his advice though does get a light hearted chuckle out of him though.]

Now why would I want to wave my communicator around?

[tauborn]

[He clips the leash on to the puppy and put his hand on the door before pausing, and then shrugging.]

Um... I have no idea why you'd do that.

[peacocked]

I think I should be the one worrying about you. [he offers takuto a small grin as he puts his hands into his pockets.] But come on, I'm sure it's safer to do this with the sun still up.

[tauborn]

If you need to worry about someone, you should be worrying about Yako.

[Since she's been kidnapped, remember? Even though it's great to see Sugata and all, he can't exactly forget that his girlfriend is trapped somewhere probably being abused by weirdos. But it's fair to worry about Takuto since thinking about Yako is making him look anxious and tired again.]

I'm sure she's fine. It would be stupid on their part to hurt those they've kidnapped. Unless they want to get hurt in the end.

[need he remind you that he has yet to meet said girlfriend. he eyes takuto with slight regard. maybe it would be better to stay inside. for now at least.] I think we should save this tour for later.

[tauborn]

The report said everyone who was kidnapped has already suffered 'minor injuries.'

[He gives Sugata long, flat look. As far as he is concerned, the kidnappers are already asking to get hurt. The dog whines and bumps his nose into the door.]

If you want to wait until later we can. But I at least need to walk Firecracker up and down the hall or else he'll get really annoyed.

I meant that it would be foolish for them to severely hurt them.

[his gaze doesn't waver as he looks back at takuto. he then turns his head to the side and waves his hand.] Fine. I'll be here, if you require assistance let me know.

[tauborn]

[He's getting the feeling Sugata doesn't particularly like dogs. Then again, his friend seems more like a cat person for some reason.]

I'll be right back. Feel free to watch tv or... snoop around, I guess.

[Aaaand he takes his dog just outside to give the puppy the opportunity to pee, as well. And then hurries back up to the apartment.

There's not a whole lot for a snooping Sugata to find, though. There's an unused doggy bed in the corner of the living room with chew toys around it--though it seems the puppy greatly preferred to chew on one of the chairs. The kitchen is stocked like it belongs to two teenage boys, except for a row of hard liquor in the back of a cupboard that looks like it hasn't been touched in a long while. Snooping in the bathroom will reveal that Takuto uses a peroxide spray to keep his galactic blond look, and there may be a few condoms stashed there as well--free courtesy of the clinic if you must ask. In Takuto's room, there's only one picture, tucked in the bedside drawer, of Takuto grinning next to a person with horns and large batlike wings who looks nonplussed to be having his picture taken. There's nothing for Sugata to find in Yuugi's room since Sugata knows better than to snoop in the room of someone he's never met before.]

[how right you are takuto. but he will put up with firecracker as long as he lives here.] Actually giving me permission to snoop. Who would have thought.

[BUT SNOOP HE DOES! from what he sees in the living room, it's safe to say that the puppy sleeps with takuto in his own bed. well, as long as he didn't have to sleep with it, he would be fine.

as he pokes around in the kitchen he notices the liquor. while it wasn't something he was expecting to be there, it's not really surprising that takuto has it in. he just hopes that it hasn't been used to relieve stress.

he doesn't stay long in the bathroom however. when he sees the condoms stashed haphazardly next to extra washcloths, he takes that as his cue to leave the room.

when takuto comes back he will find sugata sitting on the couch watching a... very strange show with his legs crossed and his arms folded over his stomach.]
