Some information has come into my hands that I'm curious about and I was hoping one of you could enlighten me on this subject. Multiple answers are not only fine but also encouraged because there's no such thing as too much information.

I assume my question is simple, however I'm still unaware of minor details in troll culture so it could be more complicated than I'd imagined.

What's a "moirail"?

And on a second note, I've worked out a more effective sopor substitute. However, I'd like opinions on what you believe the best method would be to apply it. Via a sort of reuseable patch, a type of lotion or merely a container with strong enough fumes to be effective or any other ideas you may have.

I'd be happy to. This is a chart depicting our quadrant system which is divided into red romance and black romance, serving positive and negative--so to speak--emotions. Then it is also divided into their societal function, concupiscent and conciliatory.

A moirail is what your call your partner who falls into [She points to the diamond] pale quadrant, also known as moirallegiance. It is a red partner and falls into the conciliatory side of things.

And what would it take for a troll to consider someone their moirail?

To understand the need for a moirail you have to know something about trolls you might have already picked up on from a couple of the ones around here. Instinctually, especially the higher up on the hemospectrum we are, trolls are driven more towards being volatile and unfortunately violent.

A moirail then is by some considered a platonic soul mate. Humans often use the term 'best friend' but it really doesn't fit at all. Yes, they are very close to one another and regard each other in good light but the most important aspect of a moirallegiance is the balancing. They both serve to help one another overcome their flaws, and one of the most important things is that one uses acts as a pacifier for the more violent one. They are able to hold them back from acting harshly and hurting themself or others.

So for a troll to consider someone else their moirail they would likely have to feel as if they understand each other on some level that others cannot, that they are able to keep them level headed, and of course fondness is involved.

I see. I'll acknowledge that I've definitely noticed a pattern of the higher bloods being more volatile, I can understand how something like that would sense and be necessary.
