[The screen comes on and at first you just see an eyeball. An eyeball with a red iris. Then the screen jiggles and he pulls it away and flings his cape over his shoulder most of which can't be seen in the screen because he can only get it an arm's length away. But he thinks it's properly dramatic. And he's made sure to be outside on the roof where the wind can properly blow his hair in a dramatic fashion.]

The Great Hero Hamel has arrived in your city! [He pauses then corrects himself with less drama] Actually I arrived a while back. But I get how to work this thing now! HAHA. I now have a job! Working for the little frog man on his shelves. It seems like a strange job but as long as it pays I will do whatever he commands! Even if he calls me made up names.

Also! I hear that money can be made on these missions! [He leans in closer to the screen and comes off looking a little psychotic] LOTS OF MONEY. Tell papa how he can help and in this vein apparently I need a partner. So, all you [His fingers is shoved directly at the camera] lucky ladies feel free to put in an application! I'll need your measurements to get you properly suited up!

[Hamel is about to turn the video off and then remembers something and you can see him shift the screen past a huge violin in the background back to his face] Oh yes, and where is the best place to find giant earthworms here?

Hamel was it? I'm Di. How about we meet to the entrance of the Casualty Communal? I know a couple of good places.

Yep Hamel! Sounds good! That's the free rooms right? I'll be right down!

Hamel has not yet realized there is an elevator or what it is so he takes all thirteen flights of stairs down. Which means it takes him a lot longer than a normal person to get down there even with him move at a 'free food' enhanced speed. He has to take a second at the end to catch his breath and glare at the stairs before he moves back through the building to the front. Hard to miss with the billowy cape and giant violin that he refuses to leave anywhere.

Red eyes search the area for the demon girl, and he doesn't know about trolls so she looks like a pretty standard demon to him, coming to a stop and putting his hands on his hips while he tries to find her. It doesn't help that he wasn't paying that much attention to her face, nor does it help that he screens are kinda small.

Hamel stands out for Di as well. Hair as fair as his aren't something you find in trolls, and even after all her time in Death City it's kind of something to behold for her.

Then there is also the matter of his clothing--especially that hat! It doesn't take long for her to spot him and she makes her way over, waving her hand.

"There you are. The place I was thinking is a bit out there, but it'll help us work up an appetite."

A waving hand, on the other hand, difficult to miss. And the odd skin color now is more obvious. As are the horns. He sweeps his cape back over a shoulder and marches over to her as she starts talking.

Luckily Hamel spends most of his time traveling so he's not going to bitch and moan about that. "You're buying lady, I'll go anywhere you want." He takes her in for a moment and for a demon she's pretty cute. Bonus.

"Lead on my generous friend." He makes a sweeping gesture with his hand in invitation.

Well, then off to Oodle Noodle. It was the first restaurant she had eaten at in Death City, and she had been wanting to go back for a while.

She laughs a little at the gesture and makes an equally sweeping bow before beginning to lead the way.

"So you just arrived recently, yes? How have you been settling in, despite the food troubles? This place was quite the culture shock for me when I first arrived."

He looks a little baffled by the laughter but starts walking with her, ignoring any looks the might look for her horns or his cape. The people here are probably mostly used to the oddities by now.

"Yeah, haven't been here long. But I do have an awesome house at the top of the building. Did you know it's free? It's bigger than any house I've ever had. And the water comes out hot!"

The food troubles were irritating, but he was used to roughing it.

Di nodded. "I lived there for a while before I took up residence in one of the apartment homes. They aren't free but they're quite nice if you split the rent with someone." They were certainly worth the cost in her opinion to not have so many people cramped in one room.

"The warm water is very nice. Have you checked out the thing called a television yet?" Such technologies were present in Di's world, but only to the very elite.

"Why would you pay for it if you can get it free?" He's giving her what really does seem to be a completely innocent face. Not a common occurance with him but he doesn't get that at all. He's used to having to sleep outside.

"Fuck yeah it is. It comes right in too. No buckets involved. What's a television?" He hasn't even tried it yet. He thought it was just a really weird table.
