Hi, everyone! I'm Hiro Kageyama, and I'm one of the new arrivals brought in by that thing. I think that guy called it BREW? Yeah, that thing. I just got in my apartment about an hour or two ago, and after playing around with this communicator a bit, I decided I ought to introduce myself.

So... about me... someone on that opening tour told me that I was a Meister, which means I wield Weapon people. The problem is that, back home, I was just an ordinary high school student. I was never trained in the use of any weapons. So, if I meet any of you Weapons... could you teach me how to use you?

All this is kind of hard to wrap my head around... I'm still not really sure what to think. I just came from saving my own world. Kind of. It's a little complicated. I'm not sure I'm ready to dive into action again just yet. I guess I've got time to think... while I think, could you guys tell me a bit more about this place?

Ah. Yes, de arimasu. I can make other things too, but for combat situations, I usually stick with weapons, de arimasu.

Have you ever been used to make non-weapon things?

Because we were fighting some penguins that looked nothing like penguins and I panicked when Eve-dono told me to make a weapon, de arimasu.

Well, then, what were they? Just monsters? And I guess creating a fish is a little bit safer than turning into one. Still dangerous if we're dealing with penguin-monsters, though.

Kishin-eggs...? What are those again? And panicking is dangerous, too. But I don't blame you for it.

Kishin-eggs are humans who have consumed innocent souls and have become corrupted, de arimasu. They have classes if you want to know more than that, de arimasu. [Because Keroro...didn't really want to know any more than that. He just went whenever Eve went to class.]

I know panicking is dangerous. It's a natural thing though, de arimasu.

Tell me about it... I may have looked cool on the outside, but when I saw what was happening to my world, I nearly panicked myself.

Classes are at that big building at the top of the hill, de arimasu. The climb is really long, but the view is definitely worth it, de arimasu.

My world was attacked by demons and by aliens called Septentriones. While that was going on, a void began to swallow up the world. It was the world being erased by Polaris, the administrator. The idea of complete nothingness is kind of hard to wrap your mind around at first... I know my best friend had trouble with it.

[Keroro would think that he's much cuter-looking than that. Even if he were to wear the exact same thing.]

All of that, de arimasu? At once? Isn't that kind of overkill, de arimasu?

Yes, definitely. Given that Polaris's goal was to completely erase humanity from existence, overkill might not be so surprising.

Sounds like the work of an amateur, de arimasu.

All acts of world destruction are amateurish, de arimasu. Only a complete moron would go around destroying worlds, de arimasu.

I'm... still not sure I get it. Then again, it wasn't like Polaris was an evil overlord. He was erasing us because he thought humans had reached their saturation point. Lost their wills to live, kind of.

Once a world is destroyed, it's gone forever. If you're smart, you'd know that it's not profitable at all to get rid of a world just like that, de arimasu. Everyone has a lot to offer, be they a daisy by the road, a prehistoric shark, or a Gundam model kit designer, de arimasu.

Whether they deserve to live or die, that isn't for him to decide, de arimasu. Besides, I bet he didn't even go through and make sure that all humans had really lost their wills to live, de arimasu. Sounds like something an amateur would do, de arimasu.

I agree. I mean... there were the people like us who were trying to fight against the demons. That's got to be some proof that people still had their wills to live.

Let's say Polaris wasn't an amateur. What would he do then?

He wouldn't be trying to erase you guys, to begin with, de arimasu. He'd invade, take over, and get you guys to submit to him willingly, de arimasu. To the point where you wouldn't even know what had happened until it was too late, de arimasu.

I guess that makes sense. He could make everyone start using their wills again... though I doubt he's actually that benevolent.

It's not a matter of being benevolent. The best relationship between the invader and the invaded is one where both parties benefit, de arimasu. Of course, monetary benefits are the preferred kind, but things like cultural exchange are also very good for everyone, de arimasu.
