[The camera shakes violently as it clicks on, panning around for a moment before landing on the disgruntled face of Asuka.]

I don’t care who sees this, but someone damn well better get me some new clothes! I’m not sitting around in this torn up plug suit just because some stupid machine decided to bring me to this stupid place!

[She shakes the device a little, causing the camera to wheel once again.]

And if someone doesn’t bring me clothes RIGHT. NOW. I’m gonna start kicking all of your asses the moment I see each and every one of you!

[It’s obvious that she is upset as she curses to herself about stupid people and stupid machines and stupid MP Evas, the camera still rolling through her muttered tantrum, the sounds of things being knocked over underlying her words until the camera itself is suddenly thrown and turns off with the impact of hitting the wall.]

Well you are stuck here until the BREW sends you back, so you might as well give the place a chance. You won't love it, but you probably won't hate it as much as you do now.

[Huffs again... But she seems to be calming down.]

Fine. I can give it a chance. But it better not be awful!

[She lets out a soft snort.]

At least you don't seem as thick-headed as some of the other people I've talked to.

[He can't really tell if that's a compliment or not since he is still being called thick-headed.]

I just understand how you are feeling and what you are going through. I remember what it was like when I first arrived and how pissed off and annoyed I was at everything.

[It was meant as a compliment at least... Asuka's just not good at compliments.]

Well, it's not exactly the best surprise to suddenly find yourself thrust into, is it?

No, not at all. The fact that super human abilities existing and stuff was a nice surprise, though. I only ever saw that kind of stuff in manga.

Eh. I guess it's pretty cool. But I'm used to piloting my Eva, so I think this is kinda boring in comparison.

What's an Eva?

[Sighs.]

It's a giant... [Grimaces.] ...robot. I pilot it in order to protect Earth.

A giant..you pilot a giant robot? [Completely unexpected. And cool. But mostly unexpected.]

[Might look a little smug now.]

Pretty much. In fact, I'm one of the best there is. [Granted, there's only a handful of them, but shhhh.]

[There is, but Sendo only knows of her. And don't be so smug!]

That's pretty damn cool. You must be really skilled in combat, no wonder the BREW wants you here.

[Takes that as a huuuuge boost to her ego.]

Yeah, I am pretty great in combat. And I'm not afraid of a battle. I'm used to it.

You got any experience fighting outside of your giant robot, though?

[Shrugs.]

I've never actually been in a fight outside of it, but that's not the issue. The issue is tactics. And those are still all up here.

[Taps her head.]

Huh. You might not want to look at it as being that simple. You've got the knowledge and tactics, but you still need to experience combat with your own body.

Well, technically speaking, I've experienced it with my body.

[Oh don't be a smartass, Asuka...]

The Eva's are linked up directly to our nervous systems. I feel and experience everything it does.

Then how about me and you spar sometime and see how well you hold up.

[Smirks.]

Definitely! I'd love to kick your ass.

You think it's going to be that easy, huh?

Well, most things are easy for me. And I have a lot of experience.

[She doesn't seem to QUITE REALIZE that she's not as strong as her Eva, no seriously Asuka, stop, you're setting yourself up for a downward spiral, aahhhh.]
