I apologize for this, but Sollux Captor is no longer in Death City. From what I understand he had been here for quite some time and had made quite a few friends. This is the reason I am sending this message out.

Perhaps we will be fortunate enough to have him within these walls once more.

[ Signless understands the feeling. he'd rather not think about it as going back to suffer, but the Game seems to take its toll on everyone that participates in it. it is inevitable.

[She gently rubs her knuckle against his back, nodding in agreement. It was the suddenness of it that made it so much worse. Not even an inkling of what was to come. Yet look at how quickly John had returned, after Karkat fretted so. She could only hope that the same would happen with Sollux.]

We should leave his room as is. Just in case. [Not that there was much left, but...]

[ his wish is that Sollux would come back. preferably able to see again. the poor kid had struggled with that blindness. it isn't fair...

Signless hums from her touch. thoughtful. it's not that he's in mourning or anything of the like. it will just be hard to get used to not going into that room to make sure someone is getting fed and sleeping properly. ]

I think some of his friends will want what remains.

I suppose we shouldn't deny them that, then. [She didn't think Sollux would want to, and if he did return they could always be given back.

After a moment she lets out a small laugh.]

I think we might be spending too much time around humans, dear. I was really beginning to regard him like a son. [She didn't really think that was a bad thing at all. Dolorosa had raised Signless and look how he turned out. As much as she loved her luses, and would never have wanted anyone to replace her, Di did think they could all benefit from adapting such a method]

[ after a moment, Signless twists around. hopefully Di won't mind a lap full of nubby troll. as sad as this situation is for everyone, there's a soft smile on his lips.

if he is honest, he had started to think of Sollux like that as well. Signless is glad that they had him for as long as they had. ]

[ Signless chuckles. indeed. being flattered but acting like it is nothing at all and that they are just weird. or idiots... ]

Should we do anything with the room after his friends claim what belongings are left? I know you just said to leave it as is...

[Disciple thought about it for a moment. With most of his remaining possessions given to friends, the room would seem even more empty than usual. She'd like to keep it empty in case he ever came back, but who knew when that would be? Or if he would even want to move in with them again.]

I suppose if he doesn't return within a week, if there is anyone who would like to move in...is Karkat living in the Casualty Communal?

He was living with Dave and John, last that I knew. Perhaps we keep it vacant until after the wedding...
