Hey everyone!

... I know what I'm about to ask might be a bit weird, since we just got back from a skiing trip, but my friend Minako and I have been talking about setting something like this up for a while, so I'm going to go ahead and ask this anyway.

How many of you would be interested in having a beach trip or something sometime in the future. Not right away, obviously. We did just get back from a vacation day, but both of us figure that gathering interest now and planning things is better than trying to rush it all at the last minute.

[ Not to mention that, you know, people knowing about it in advance would make it easier to not have something else come up and make it so it needed to be pushed back because she hadn't had time to ask about it. ]

Also, if people are interested, what type of food would you like us to have there when it happens? Though I guess we might need to ask again closer to the date, depending on how many new people we get by the time we decide to actually have this.

[ Though you know, maybe she should say something else too. ]

Anyway, I have something else to talk about too. Something a little bit more important than a vacation day. My partner and I are thinking about trying to take on more missions than we have been. But... I'm not exactly sure what's a good balance. Like... how often should we go on more missions?

I mean, I know that we're not allowed to go on one everyday or more than two in a week. But for partners who haven't gone on that many before, is that a good schedule to follow? Or should we try to do one every week instead of two a week? I don't want the two of us to burn out on missions because we thought we were fine and then we suddenly crash, since that's not really going to help anyone out here. Does anyone who's been going on missions steadily for a while have any advice here?

But you were just talking about going on those missions, weren't you? That's basically bounty hunting.

You're still going out to hunt down targets for money. And some of those kishin eggs are kinda like the pirate scum I hunted back home even if the pay isn't nearly as good here. [Although her targets usually weren't already skeletons.]

Hmph. Tell me about it. A lot of those Weapon people don't seem too interested in fighting. I haven't been able to take one of those missions in weeks! [She might be a little frustrated...]
pirateninja: (not impressed)

I'd rather not be tied to anyone. I'm used to working alone and the only reason I even bother taking someone along is because those pansies at the school won't let me out by myself. And anyway, I've been hanging around training for weeks and barely any Weapons show up looking for partners.

Well, I still think it's a dumb rule. Which one are you, anyway? A Meister or a Weapon?
pirateninja: (by the way...)

Hmph. I still think it's dumb you get stuck waiting around until someone will go with you.

If you're a Meister, just where did you find this Weapon willing to go on missions with you? [Because she hasn't been having any luck lately.]

Well, I think this stupid war would go faster if they didn't have this partner system.

[And being a loner, she kinda rolls her eyes at that mention of becoming friends.]

So, you grabbed her when she showed up in that weird dark room instead of at training?
pirateninja: (waiting)

[Video] Sorry for the lateness!

So, she was looking for a Meister on these weird mirror things? I haven't really seen any asking here either.

The sandstorm, huh? [She wondered if she should go looking for that Keronian even if she would have preferred a sword...]

That's not much help. [Morgan's just not the friendly helpful type.]

Those things were pretty freaky. The giant worms could have used breath mints even more than pirates.
