Hey everyone!
... I know what I'm about to ask might be a bit weird, since we just got back from a skiing trip, but my friend Minako and I have been talking about setting something like this up for a while, so I'm going to go ahead and ask this anyway.
How many of you would be interested in having a beach trip or something sometime in the future. Not right away, obviously. We did just get back from a vacation day, but both of us figure that gathering interest now and planning things is better than trying to rush it all at the last minute.
[ Not to mention that, you know, people knowing about it in advance would make it easier to not have something else come up and make it so it needed to be pushed back because she hadn't had time to ask about it. ]
Also, if people are interested, what type of food would you like us to have there when it happens? Though I guess we might need to ask again closer to the date, depending on how many new people we get by the time we decide to actually have this.
[ Though you know, maybe she should say something else too. ]
Anyway, I have something else to talk about too. Something a little bit more important than a vacation day. My partner and I are thinking about trying to take on more missions than we have been. But... I'm not exactly sure what's a good balance. Like... how often should we go on more missions?
I mean, I know that we're not allowed to go on one everyday or more than two in a week. But for partners who haven't gone on that many before, is that a good schedule to follow? Or should we try to do one every week instead of two a week? I don't want the two of us to burn out on missions because we thought we were fine and then we suddenly crash, since that's not really going to help anyone out here. Does anyone who's been going on missions steadily for a while have any advice here?

Even though it's been that long, I still can't believe that you live in a world like that.
[Like you're one to talk Miki]
However, I suppose I shouldn't talk. My world back home is a little strange too. ...Did you ever get involved with sword fights?
[Voice]
[ Sword fights? Huh. ]
Nope! No sword fights back where I came from. Well, none that I knew about, anyway.
[Voice] YOU SAW NO FAIL
[well, he can't avoid it now]
But yes, there was sword fights back home. I had to fight for something called the Rose Bride.
[And here we....go!]
[Voice] Fail? I do not know of this fail of which you speak
Wow. That's delightfully vague, Miki-san. What's this Rose Bride that you're talking about?
[Voice] NO FAIL HERE
She's someone who you have to win from duels and she's important to a lot of people involved.
...
However, that's because she also unlocks the power to give people the wish to change the world. Whoever wins her hand, they have all the power they could want!
[Minus a few...mindfucks here and there]
[Voice
[ Chika listens, not completely sure how all that would work, but she's just going to assume 'magic' and not worry about it too much. ]
That sounds kinda crazy. But I'm really glad that there was nothing like that in my world. If Kurata had gotten his hands on a power like that, I'd hate to see what would've happened.
[Voice]
I would hate to see what would have happened if that ever happened! Luckily, I don't think there was anyone that bad who would be willing to change the world for something like that!
At least, not in the duels?
[...Sort of]
[Voice]
That's good! I mean, if they aren't in the duels, then they couldn't go ahead and try to do it anyway, right?
[ Though she can't help but think that leaving all of that power as a prize ina contest was pretty dumb. ]
[Voice]
Yes, I suppose so...
[You sound convinced there]
[Voice]
... Is everything okay, Miki-san?
[Voice]
I was just wondering what else we could do about this place.
[Why no, he's totally not changing the subject. What are you talking about, Chika?]
[Voice]
[ Chika pauses, not sure where he's going with that change in subject.]
You mean with stopping the Witches? Or are you talking about something else?
[Voice]
[Voice]
[Voice]
But it's important to figure it out how and to fight with those people...
[And yet..]
[Voice]
But once you do find a partner that you click with, it's great. Especially if you're friends too and not just partners.
[Voice]
Mind if I ask you something, Chika-san? How did you manage to get your partner?
[Voice]
She just happened to be a weapon, so eventually after being friends for a while we tried working together, then decided to make it permanent after a couple of missions.
[Voice]
I see. I suppose finding a partner isn't quite as difficult as I thought...
[Okay, now he has to laugh a bit] This place isn't quite what I once thought it would be!
[Voice]
[Voice]
Hm, then that seems a lot easier and especially if it's with someone I know...
[Voice]
Yeah. There's more than just resonating to being a partner. If the two of you can resonate but argue over everything, you're going to have a really hard time fighting together. And well, Shibusen does recommend that partners live together, so if you can't get along that well that's just going to be horrible.
[Voice]
Then I'll just have to see how that goes! Until then, I'll just have to hope for the best from the other weapons here.
[Voice]
Well, I'm sure that you'll find someone eventually. Who knows, you might get lucky and find someone almost right away.
[Voice]
I'll just have to see! And just hope...for the best in a place with so much devastation and destruction around.
[...Yeah about that]
[Voice]
