Yes, de arimasu. It was a little side project we were making as part of our plan to...b-befriend [ ~~invade~~ ] Pekopon, de arimasu. I-It was a lot of fun, de arimasu! W-What are these cards based on, de arimasu? And how do you play with them, de arimasu?

If you'll believe it, they're based on a battle system used in Ancient Egypt from the time of the Pharaohs!

That's really similar to the rules we made for our game too, de arimasu. [Probably because it was a parody on YGO, Keroro.]

It could have been, de arimasu! [It was, Keroro. Although it had some elements from other card games as well.]
I called it Keroro Kings★Aliens Gathering, de arimasu.

Which is why it's surprising that you put your name for the brand! [[Very good natured in the teasing before he gives a laugh]] Though I think it's better for a game to have a more descriptive name to it, rather than to be a brand. The name itself builds it's own brand, ne?

My name is a brand in itself, de arimasu. I'm a household name on my home planet, you know. [Besides, his platoon is called the Keroro Platoon. Even his show is called Keroro Gunsou. It's pretty much unavoidable for him to use his own name as a brand.]

Like what, de arimasu? Really Fun Card Game, de arimasu? [He is being serious about the name.]

Heeeeeh, really? [[Trying to picture a place where the K in KC stands for Keroro. But what would the Blue Eyes White Dragon statues be replaced with...?]]

Mmmm, it'd need to be more descriptive than that... like how Duel Monsters, the main premiss is that it's dueling with monsters, so it's really the most simple explanation of it. So I'd guess it would depend what the central theme and element of the came would be, really.

I am the leader of a [self-proclaimed] successful invasion, de arimasu. It only makes sense for me to be a [self-proclaimed] superstar on Keron, de arimasu. [It would be Keroro Corp. And the Blue Eyes statues would be replaced with Keroro statues.]

Ah, I guess that makes sense, de arimasu. But sometimes a name that has nothing to do with the game itself could help attract new people. Simply because it's so difficult to understand, de arimasu.

[[blink blink]] That sort of thing is that important in your world?

It's just important to me, de arimasu. So these are Duel Monster cards, de arimasu?

Un! Though my deck really isn't the best example of the game, since it's so specific to the occult. [[explains a bit sheepishly]] But most people have a specialty, since there's so many you can get lots of variations on themes that still work out really well.

But if you can specialize as much as you say you can, then your deck is still a good example, Bakura-dono.

Sure. [[holds his deck out. He's trusting you to be gentle with them, Keroro]]

[Gentle is his middle name! Especially because these are Bakura's (and not Giroro's), so he'll treat them with care.

He flips through them carefully, reading the descriptions before turning to look at Bakura.]

It's too bad that I can't play with you, de arimasu. I've seen similar things but nothing exactly like it, de arimasu. Ah, if only someone would make up more cards so that I could build my own deck too, de arimasu.

[[Good good. Because if his cards got hurt, the spirit of Yami Yuugi would somehow emerge from them to lecture Keroro about how you treat a deck. And that would just be awkward.]]

Do you think maybe we could make some? I'm pretty familiar with the cards, I'm sure I could reproduce them well enough so we could play!
