☆ 003 | TEXT | 2/17 ☆
Ah, I can't help feeling that things are a little quiet around here right, now. I know I should probably feel glad considering the alternative, but I guess I find it all too easy to become bored.
I've heard the news that there may be a serial killer in our midst, but it's hard to feel concern for something when it's at a remove from you, right? It's a big city after all, and it's easy to put your mind to rest and think that such a thing will never happen to you. Only, perhaps the people who were killed used to think exactly the same thing? I wonder.
Anyway! Perhaps it's better to concentrate on something a little less morbid. And since I said I was bored...maybe some of you can tell me what you like to do for fun around here? Is there anything you particularly like about Death City? Or even things you really dislike? Give me some ideas ☆

text;
I suppose it would depend on the person, whether you get to know them well through text. But I, personally, tend to be more comfortable when I'm not hiding behind the veil of anonymity. There's a great deal more you can tell about a person just by seeing their facial expressions as well as hearing their voice. Nuances that I feel would get confused or missed entirely when speaking on a text-only basis.
You, for instance, were different from the way I imagined you.
text;
Ah, sure, there's certainly a lot you can learn about a person through face-to-face interaction, or even from the sound of their voice, but those kinds of interactions can be a little trying at times, for someone like me.
I'm curious, though. How was I different from what you'd imagined?
text;
As for how you are different, please don't take offense. But through text with some of your mannerisms, it is easy to mistake you for a woman.
text;
Ah, I'm not offended! You're not the first person to come to that conclusion, Light-kun.
text;
[ After all, Light's one of them. ]
I'm relieved. I didn't want to upset you.
text;
It's kind of you to say so. And yes, I think it's possible that such people exist. There's a lot of room for diversity between individuals, after all.
Ha ha, no, I'm not upset. I may be shy, but I'm also fairly difficult to offend.
