Ah, I can't help feeling that things are a little quiet around here right, now. I know I should probably feel glad considering the alternative, but I guess I find it all too easy to become bored.

I've heard the news that there may be a serial killer in our midst, but it's hard to feel concern for something when it's at a remove from you, right? It's a big city after all, and it's easy to put your mind to rest and think that such a thing will never happen to you. Only, perhaps the people who were killed used to think exactly the same thing? I wonder.

Anyway! Perhaps it's better to concentrate on something a little less morbid. And since I said I was bored...maybe some of you can tell me what you like to do for fun around here? Is there anything you particularly like about Death City? Or even things you really dislike? Give me some ideas ☆

Ah, I don't know. You've made it fairly clear from the beginning that you're a long way from ordinary.

But I guess I could start. I like being around lots of other people.

I am? For a god I have always been quite inconspicuous. Hardly eye-catching when compared to the others even, you could say. [Of course, that was one of the things that made him so dangerous.]

That is a desire that can be easily satisfied in most cities. I like surprises. [Innocent words for the kind of games he engages in.]

Well, you're the first 'god' I've ever knowingly spoken with, and seeing as you were quite happy to inform me of your status right from the beginning along with making some vaguely ominous statements I don't think I would have picked the word 'inconspicuous' to describe you. But that's just my opinion.

It is. Which is why I prefer to reside in large cities. I also like surprises.

I guess it depends what kind of surprises you're looking for. If it's surprises caused by people, then sure. There's a higher population so of course there's a higher possibility of more surprising things occurring.

I tend to care more about reactions than the surprises on their own. It is like watching the effects of the wing-beat of a butterfly.

The reactions can be just as interesting as the surprises themselves sometimes, sure. But I still enjoy the surprises themselves.
