[Aqua was sitting by a window, with her knees draw up and the communicator balanced on top. She leaned back against the wall, posture relaxed.]

I've been wondering, does anyone come from a world with magic? If so, would you mind telling me a little about it?

[She reaches out a hand to steady the communicator when it slides a little to the left before righting it again.]

I specialized in magic back home, so I'm curious about what kinds of magic exists in other worlds.

I found a copy of the Grimm's Fairy Tales in the library. [She smiled.] I really enjoyed it; thank you for recommending it to me.

What kinds of magic were there?

[A short pause.] And if you don't mind, could you tell me more about Shin Makoku as well? I assume it's not mainly inhabited by humans if they have their own territories.

Hmm most of it was elemental magic - like fire, wind, earth and so forth.

About Shin Makoku? [He blinks at that.] You're right about that. The Mazoku, aaah demons, live in Shin Makoku. The country was built for them after a war a thousand of years before I ever got there.

Elemental magic is pretty common it seems.

A country of demons? [She blinked a little. She'd met gods, sorceresses, aliens and even dwarves. Demons, however, she'd only ever seen in books.] I don't think I've ever met one before. What do they look like?

It does seem that way, doesn't it? [He smiles at that.]

Mmmhm! You wouldn't even be able to tell the difference between a human and a demon there. [Well, except for hair colours and the fact that most of the demons throughout Shin Makoku were considered beautiful.] They look just like everyone else.

[He sometimes forgets to mention to others that he's half demon...]

That's interesting. In a lot of the books I've read they're said to look different and only disguise themselves so they look human.

Eeeeh really? Huh, well they're not like that in Shin Makoku. [He takes a moment to pause and think over it again just to make sure.] Yeah, I think I would have noticed if they were just disguising them like that.

But it could just be the type of demons that come from that world? Aaaa I mean, well until I met them, I always thought that demons were those big red guys with a tail and horns coming out of their heads. [He laughed sheepishly at that.] Boy was I wrong.

Maybe. I wouldn't be surprised at all if something like that would be different across different worlds.

[Though something he said gave her pause.] You said 'that world'. Is it not the world you came from?

Huh? Oh! Shin Makoku is in a different world than the one I was born on. Although my soul originally came from that world before it was taken to Earth.

Your soul? How did it end up in a different world?

Conrad brought it over to Earth with him because they wanted me to grow up without the dangers of the war they were in at the time.

But you eventually found your way back. [She let out a thoughtful hum.] World travelling seems to be a lot more common than I ever thought it would be.

Aaa yeah. [He rubs at the back of his head at that. Luckily she didn't ask how since it was the most embarrassing way.] You travelled to different worlds as well? Did you have magic that let you do it?

...I guess some people might call it magic, but that's not really what it was.

Oh yeah? [He's peering at the screen curiously.] What was it?

It's a weapon. I can't really say how it worked, but it was a weapon that could only be wielded by someone with a strong heart.

Eeeh? A weapon could do that? [He can believe it considering his own sword back home.] So... so it's sort of like a hero weapon?

A hero weapon.

[She blinked before shaking her head with a quiet laugh. That reminded her a little about what happened at the Colosseum.] I guess...that's one way to think about it.

[He was serious about his question. He'd seen one travelling around the world Shin Makoku was in, so there had to be other weapons like that around as well, right?

The quiet laugh caught him off guard though, and he peered at the screen.] It is?

Ooowaaah! I bet that it's amazing to hold. [His eyes suddenly seem a lot brighter, almost as if he was a little envious. He'd always wanted to fight with a hero sword!]

It's a weapon that only answers to those with a strong heart...and I think a person needs a strong heart to become a hero. [Her smile turns a little sheepish.] But I'm not sure if I'm quite there yet.

And it's...it's something special. [It was different from any other weapon, human or otherwise, she's ever handled. Even when she was fighting with a Weapon who turned into a Keyblade it wasn't quite the same.]

[He's all ears when she spoke about the weapon.]

I have no doubt that you are. [Yuuri looks like he honestly believes that!] Ooowaaah! I always wanted to have a hero weapon back home.

[His expression softens when she says that it's something special. That's something that he can understand.]

Thank you for the vote of confidence, but I still have a long way to go.

[She's a little embarrassed, but she's still smiling.]

Why did you want one so badly?

You'll get there! Just keep believing in yourself.

Eh? Because they're so cool! Although Morgif doesn't like it when Al lets me hold his sword. He's a hero from my world!

Who's Morgif?

Morgif is my sword back home. He gets upset pretty easily though. [And here he's grinning sheepishly.]
