I intend on participating in the coming mission, alone if I must. Before that, however, there are some people I would like to have a word with.

I had no part in any of that, but some came close to succeeding. I am not saying they should have, just...if all used such a deceptive strategy it would accomplish nothing beyond making the Lilin paranoid and suspicious of each other, and likely lead to internal fighting. I suppose that might be considered a success in its own way, but it seems unnecessarily cruel.

I am not sure what that refers to, but there is no Lucifer in my world, no demons or anything of the sort. The final struggle is over the Earth, against mankind.

How has mankind become your foe?

[not even gonna argue the "not his foe" part, because. it feels like there has been an intelligence leak here and it is probably eridan's fault.]

Earth belonged to Adam first. The Lilin gaining it was an accident. The Angels seek only to reclaim what is theirs.

The Earth was never meant to be ours to begin with. It was the property of His greatest creations.

We only set foot upon its soil to defend it against that which would harm it.

You world sounds much more accurate to Christian beliefs, I think. Where I come from, the Bible is simply a book that managed to get a few things right.

We guided humanity through subtle means; it was not our world to interfere with. Their mortal belief system had little to do with it.

What was your role, in your world?

It was similar in the past, but humans drifted away from their God and He from them. Now, the Angels see no reason to pity them when they believe the Lilin are simply usurpers.

Because in a way, you are my sibling. I have never had a family in the human sense, but I think it is only natural to feel like this.

[and he's pretty relieved that angels are good guys where you're from, so. good feelings all around.]

We are all siblings in our way, as His creations. It's only natural. Those closest to His throne feel that connection more deeply than humanity would.
