So, my naturally scientific side can't help but wonder if BREW has any sort of rhyme or reason for who it brings in, and apparently there's already been interest on whether there is some sort of system. With that sort of discussion going on I can't help but wonder why nothing's been done about the lack of knowledge in that field, so I guess it's up to me.
And with that said -
[ She pushes blue hair behind her ear, squaring her shoulders and leveling a calm stare at the mirror, making sure she was making good eye contact. It'd be important if she was to be taken seriously, right? ]
if you've never seen me before, my name's Bulma Briefs, and I'm an inventor and scientist in my home world.
I'd like to gather some willing participants to see how many worlds this place has drawn people from, and what exactly your roles in these worlds have been. I'm not going to force anyone to participate, because I don't want any skewed results - but I also have to stress that nothing will go past me, so far as any 'secretive' information, and that I need absolute and objective honesty.
There's no other way to do this than to rely on people to be truthful with their information, but I'm hoping that if we can find any sort of pattern, we'll be able to anticipate who may leave or arrive next.
I haven't not finalized my list of things I'd like to know, but I'd like to hear input or questions about it, if anyone has any! I'll keep you all updated about my progress, too!
[ She grins and gives a little salute goodbye before the feed cuts off. ]

Unfortunately the subject matter is highly subjective, but I'm hoping with careful wording and corroboration of stories we might be able to keep things at a happy medium.
[ She smiles as the other mentions no one's done it yet, though. ] I tend to have a way with doing things first. It's good to meet you, Doctor Holiday.
[She still smiles, anyway.]
Good to meet you, too, Miss Briefs. What would you have me do?
We'll see how much respect the thing deserves. It's still a machine, at the end of the day.
[ She's built her share of machines, and they all break down and need someone to fix them, eventually. Still, Bulma seems to think that over carefully, the control freak that she is, over achiever to boot. ]
For the moment I think I'm alright, so far as any assistance research wise. But, you could tell me where you're from and if anyone else is here from your world to contribute! And I'll make sure to put a note nearby if I end up a bit swamped. Any fellow doctor is at the top of my list.
[But, anyway. She locks the feed from here on out. There's a lot of information about her word she doesn't want to public to know, which she probably won't even tell Bulma certain details.]
I don't mind helping out if you need me, though a lot of my technology experience lies with nanotech.
About my home, I'm from... well, a version of Earth. There's one other person here that's from the same place. His name is Six.
I'm not even really sure. I've heard that it's literally just.. a cube, though. It seems ridiculous but anything is possible if I can be dragged to a whole other place like this, right?
Earth.. and Six... got it. [ She's feverishly making notes, broken up by pages so that she can have whole sheets to one person, if she so pleases. ] There's a lot of different Earth versions.. from the looks of it.
[Though, she frowns.]
I was afraid so. Should I explain my home in a bit more detail so that they can be categorized better?
[ The fact that any and everything is possible here is sort of intriguing and yet frightening all at the same time for her, as well. Though that's probably only made worse by the fact that Trunks was here, and, naturally, she wanted to try and protect him. ]
Yes, that would probably help me some if you don't mind!
[She just won't say what the nanites do.]
There seems to be a lot of end of the world scenarios... [ Not that her world hadn't faced those before but... that's what the dragon balls were for, after all. They'd restored a lot of people and the Earth so many times by now - ]
Nanites? Is it some sort of infection that hinders people?
So... what makes them so notable, then? If they do nothing until they're infected themselves..
The effects of an infected nanite aren't always good. It's become a scare among humanity and is seen as a plague. You can imagine all of the revolutionary groups that sprung up because of this.
[ Ah, that makes a lot of sense. She nods, humming slightly to herself as she mulls that over and thinks about the possibilities. No matter what it.. doesn't seem favorable. ]
I see. But if it's in all organic life... then no humans are spared, correct?
....
.... Yeah...
Then what are they advocating, puling out their own organs or something?
There's some radical groups that want to purge the people who have already gotten infected. There's others who want to infect more people.
The people I work for is strictly for a cure.
What symptoms, exactly, does the infection give those who suffer from it? It is at all debilitating or anything like that?
[ This may get a bit above her head, so far as not being a doctor, or anything, but hey, she'll do her best now that her curiosity is piqued. ]
It's debilitating to some. For all that we've seen so far, most everyone has different effects that occur to them. Sometimes it's related to something, like the terrain or weather or other organisms nearby and sometimes it's not. Usually, it's a completely random process.
Even some cures don't work on all of them.
[Okay. That was good.]
So it's many strains of the same condition that seems to adapt to each area it grows in or.. anything like that. Sounds like a highly adaptive bacteria or virus of sorts, though who knows it could be completely different...
[ She hums a little in thought, doodling circles on a page to let her brain process that information a bit. ]
So this basically pits the infected against the uninfected, in round about terms?
[She nods.] Unfortunately, yes. It's like a new form of racism to most.
That sounds.. interesting. [ Hah, well, such was the life of a scientist who was typically building those machines. ]
Though, typically I build those sorts of machines so this may be a little more interesting to me than others.
