[For anyone that happens to know Kotetsu, you might be a little surprised at the serious, almost stern features on his face. He almost looks as if he has something dire and important to say, and in fact, he does. He opens his mouth-- and then closes it, his eyes going wide slightly, and he stares down at his feet as if trying to recall what he was going to say.

Damn it, public speaking wasn't ever his strong point, but Barnaby had taken care of the first message relating to this subject so it was only fair that he'd handle it this time around. Finally, with an assured nod, he lifts his head up.]

Okay, I'd like to have everyone's attention please! I know a lot of people probably know more than enough about those killings going around, and if you haven't, get outta that rock and read yourself a newspaper. It's good for you. I'm not sure how many of you remember the message someone named Barnaby gave about this "serial killer" in the area, but it's related to that.

[Kotetsu takes a deep breath and removes his hat, his expression going serious again.]

They're calling the guy that everyone is looking for "The Crim Cutter". But that's not his name. His name is Lunatic. He's from my world, and from the looks of it, he's now in Death City. Back home, he was famous for going after criminals and giving them his own brand of justice, and that was by killing them. No one knows what he really looks like because he wears a mask and an outfit, and no one knows how to catch him. Not yet at least. He's never gone after regular, innocent people though, so there isn't too much to worry about. Still, he's dangerous, and he shouldn't be here. We can't let him stay loose for long.

...some people might think that he's not that bad of a problem because he goes after criminals, people who you think deserves this sort of thing, but that's not true. It's a lie. No matter who he goes after and why, he's killing people, and no matter what, that sort of thing can't be forgiven. You don't get any kind of justice with murder. It's not right!

[He doesn't realize the tightened hold he has on his mirror or the raised tone in his voice until he hears it slightly echo in the room he's in, and Kotetsu jolts slightly, surprised at his own outburst. Calming down, he rubs at the back of his neck and continues.]

Ah, so, if anyone has any questions, don't hesitate to ask me or my partner. --oh, my name's Kotetsu. My partner's Barnaby. We've dealt with this guy a lot longer than Death City has now so hopefully, we can help out in catching Lunatic and getting this all to stop as soon as possible, because trust me, he's not gonna stop for anything.

[All the while, Kotetsu paced back and forth in the living room, his temper and patience with taking on questions something like a roller coaster ride, continuous ups and downs that he couldn't stand. Once he got a break from the responses, he looked over at Barnaby and frowned.]

Because BREW's a piece of garbage, that's why.

[Kotetsu was definitely trying his best to stay calm, Barnaby could tell. But he definitely wasn't stepping in unless necessary, keeping his own temper at bay by focusing more on the details. Unfortunately, looking through the case was frustrating him almost as much as the arguments were.

This BREW really was a piece of garbage. Standing up, he made his way over to Kotetsu, crossing his arms.] Unfortunately, it's starting to sound like we'll have to encounter him on our own. We need to figure out if he's a meister or a weapon, first off. [And once that occurred, then it would be if he had a partner. This was so troublesome.]

[Tapping his mirror against his chin, Kotetsu stared over at the files on the table as Barnaby stepped over to him. As fortunate as it was for him to be able to try and figure this all out with his partner at his side, Kotetsu still knew it wouldn't be easy, not with how different things were in Death City as opposed to Sternbild.]

Again, huh? Here's hoping that turns out better than the last time... [Kotetsu's voice quieted as he glanced over at Barnaby, faint concern in his eyes. He didn't know if Barnaby would be able to handle another fight with Lunatic, not when the last one was still rather fresh in his memory. Looking away, he crossed his own arms and simply tried to focus on the main problem on their hands.]

Since they mentioned he's got a crossbow, it could go either way. He could be a weapon and that's part of his weapon form, but I've got no idea who'd be crazy enough to partner up with him. Then again, if he's a meister, maybe he got a hold of someone who's a weapon... but that just leads us to the same question as before. [And really, Kotetsu didn't even want to think about who would be insane enough to want to work with Lunatic in a partnership like that.]

[With a sigh, he nodded. They just needed to get him, to catch him and bring him to some sort of holding facility, but their luck had been rather rotten when it came to Lunatic. After all of the chaos from fighting him in Sternbild, having to take him down there as well just felt like overkill. Until they could figure this one out, Barnaby just listened as Kotetsu speculated.]

I think either way, we're going to come across a challenge. Perhaps we should try to ind a weapon and meister registry somewhere on Sternbild and see if anyone listed is a crossbow. Then we could ask or seek them out, and go on their behavior following

[Chewing on his lower lip, Kotetsu simply nodded and tried his hardest to figure out some sort of way to lead to better progress toward answering the smaller, technically easier questions to answer in this whole mess, and thankfully, as per usual, Barnaby was the one to come up with a good plan. Kotetsu perked up right away, almost ready to head on out the door already.]

Ooh--! That's a great idea Bunny! We should do that! [It was probably the most obvious assumption in the world but who the heck ever expected Kotetsu to catch on to things like that?]

[Barnaby smirked a little at that, shaking his head with amusement. Kotetsu was already rearing and ready to go, but they needed to go about this carefully.

...or as careful as they could go.]

Let's start today. We should try the registry at Shibusen, then patrol the city a few times.

Right!

[Kotetsu quickly shoved his mirror into his pocket and set his hands on his hips, clearly confusing "today" with "right this very second". You can't tell him to wait, there's no waiting, he wants to go now now nooowww.]

[He just sighs. Oh Kotetsu, there is no putting this off now.]

Alright, then I guess we'll head to the registry.
