[For anyone that happens to know Kotetsu, you might be a little surprised at the serious, almost stern features on his face. He almost looks as if he has something dire and important to say, and in fact, he does. He opens his mouth-- and then closes it, his eyes going wide slightly, and he stares down at his feet as if trying to recall what he was going to say.
Damn it, public speaking wasn't ever his strong point, but Barnaby had taken care of the first message relating to this subject so it was only fair that he'd handle it this time around. Finally, with an assured nod, he lifts his head up.]
Okay, I'd like to have everyone's attention please! I know a lot of people probably know more than enough about those killings going around, and if you haven't, get outta that rock and read yourself a newspaper. It's good for you. I'm not sure how many of you remember the message someone named Barnaby gave about this "serial killer" in the area, but it's related to that.
[Kotetsu takes a deep breath and removes his hat, his expression going serious again.]
They're calling the guy that everyone is looking for "The Crim Cutter". But that's not his name. His name is Lunatic. He's from my world, and from the looks of it, he's now in Death City. Back home, he was famous for going after criminals and giving them his own brand of justice, and that was by killing them. No one knows what he really looks like because he wears a mask and an outfit, and no one knows how to catch him. Not yet at least. He's never gone after regular, innocent people though, so there isn't too much to worry about. Still, he's dangerous, and he shouldn't be here. We can't let him stay loose for long.
...some people might think that he's not that bad of a problem because he goes after criminals, people who you think deserves this sort of thing, but that's not true. It's a lie. No matter who he goes after and why, he's killing people, and no matter what, that sort of thing can't be forgiven. You don't get any kind of justice with murder. It's not right!
[He doesn't realize the tightened hold he has on his mirror or the raised tone in his voice until he hears it slightly echo in the room he's in, and Kotetsu jolts slightly, surprised at his own outburst. Calming down, he rubs at the back of his neck and continues.]
Ah, so, if anyone has any questions, don't hesitate to ask me or my partner. --oh, my name's Kotetsu. My partner's Barnaby. We've dealt with this guy a lot longer than Death City has now so hopefully, we can help out in catching Lunatic and getting this all to stop as soon as possible, because trust me, he's not gonna stop for anything.

I will, I will, don't worry! I haven't given up on trying to catch him back home and I'm definitely not going to give up here. [Allowing Lunatic to run loose among the streets of Death City had been a huge mistake on BREW's part, and Kotetsu was more than willing to do everything he could to correct it, no matter what he had to do and how long it took. But then, just as soon as he found his burning spirit as a hero coming back into full swing, Kotetsu found himself caught slightly off-guard.] --other guy? Which other guy?
[Kotetsu hadn't gotten completely used to thinking of Yuri in concern to their little group from home, not to mention he was a simple judge. He couldn't do much about Lunatic in a hands-on sense, at least in Kotetsu's opinion.]
action
[She wasn't told what precisely that was, but it had be something of use right?]
action
--oh! You mean the judge? Ah, that guy. Well, he is a judge, so once we've got Lunatic in our hands he can handle that part of the work. And he seems pretty smart so maybe he'll be able to help us figure out a way to track him down.
action
Yeah that's him! I met him when I was looking for you to have lunch with. I just didn't know what his job was.
action
See? Papa has a lot of help already, so it'll be fine! You've got nothing to worry about and I'm gonna make sure everyone in the city doesn't worry anymore either.
action
Well, okay. But you know it would be nice if I could help out since I'm stuck here too.
action
It isn't until a few minutes after his conversation with Tenten that Kotetsu finds himself looking over at Kaede, his lips moving in silent little almost sputtered questions and pleas, his fingers clenching and unclenching, and he really does look like he might just break down and cry all of a sudden because who told you you could get secret training and have a sword???]
action
action
Kaede--! Why didn't you tell me that Tenten was training you...?! And that she, she gave you a... g-gave you a... I thought I said no weapons!
action
Cause you wouldn't have let me even if I asked you first! [Turning her head away trying to avoid looking at him.] How am I suppose to protect myself from criminals here? You don't get this at all do you?
action
I do get it! There's absolutely no way any criminal would ever get a chance of hurting you, not while I'm around! [The thought itself was enough to infuriate Kotetsu, but his temper was easily settled with the assurance that as long as he was around, he'd be more than enough to protect Kaede and make sure she was never in danger.] All you need is Bunny's training! Papa can handle the rest!
action
action
Th-then... but then... you could... [Immediately, Kotetsu managed to think about Rei, but he knew that he couldn't constantly toss his daughter at her at infrequent moments of time to be protected and taken care of. That would be an unnecessary burden on Rei's part. Just like that, Kotetsu's shoulders slumped, and it seemed like he had lost his side of the argument.]
action
Now that her point had been proven, she hopped off the couch. She wanted to be in her room again. Perhaps call up Tenten and ask why did she tattle on her.]
action
Wait wait--! Kaede come back, Kaede! Papa's not done talking to you!
action
[She whirled around a bit, her attention back towards her father. She had said all that needs to be said. So what else could he have left to argue about?]
action
You... this... you ca-- ...wh-what I was gonna say, is... dah! [Nope, he's got nothing.]
We're not done yet! Papa's gonna talk to you about this again, not now but... but later! Soon! Okay?! Don't think this means I'm okay with all that because I'm not!
