I'd just like to let everyone know that I've got an especially virulent illness. It's possibly tuberculosis. Cough, cough.
So if you planned to come over today, please, please stay away from my apartment, unless you don't want to get this serious and painful illness.
I won't be able to go to work today, Keroro-san. I'll miss you and all my colleagues.

[Private to Sheena]

Don't worry, I'm not sick. Take care of yourself!

[Private to Mello]

I'm not lying. Cough. Take care of yourself.

You won't go on video to prove you have tuberculosis so you're typing it out? Good troll but please try again. wwwwwwww
zealous_steiner: (well you're wrong and this is why)

A chest X-ray would be nice, or a sick-looking face! Good luck going outside for the next two months though (^^)b

So you're not sick, as predicted wwwwww

I'm interested to meet this person who shares my curiosity about BREW. He may prove a valuable asset to my lab, and to finding more than the few shreds Shibusen allows us.

Of course, you may too, if you prove worthy of a title as lab-mem. wwwww

Ah, Scarface Bishounen! I've run into him - an impressive man, indeed, but not one I pegged to share my brand of curiosity. The time for us to meet again has come!

I don't blame you for being unsure of joining my lab. We've been known to encounter dangerous forces, and pushback from the very Organization that pulls the strings of spacetime!
zealous_steiner: (looks behind)

I can't claim to know him well, but I certainly remember talking with him. I'll be sure to mention this... field trip.

[And named him Scarface Bishounen. Apt nickname, he thinks.]

[What is he doing, this guy...]

That's the spirit! Always be vigilant. I thought I was just making jokes about the Organization... but it turns out they were real. orz

I guess I should preface that with "in my world"... Never thought I'd have to do that, huh.

There's an organization called SERN in the world-line I'm from, that eventually created a dystopia using their knowledge of time travel. They were tracking us before I even knew they existed, because I turned out to be the head resister of their rule.

It was my, and my lab-mems', task to change fate. We managed it.

I am sad scientist

It was less like the ultimate world war and more like a very constricted time loop - because, in essence, that's what it was.

See, there's something called world-line convergence, that you can change the past to a certain extent and it won't affect future events in any meaningful way. To win against SERN, we had to contend with both world-line convergence and the far larger forces SERN had to reverse certain events that led to the split in world-lines in the first place.

[He hesitates on whether to add the last part, but adds it.]

I can never forgive them, not when I saw them take my best friend's life as many times as they did.
zealous_steiner: (i will do this)

I traveled back in time countless times to save her, but she kept dying, again and again and again... So many times, I almost gave up. But I am not the type of man who gives up before his goal's seen to, even if it kills me inside.

Eventually, I did save her, and the world with her... but at the cost of the girl I love. Then my niece came back in time again to tell me that future ended in World War III and I needed to stop that, too. orz

The minute I thought I would get to see Kurisu again, BREW picked me up and took me here ヽ(゚Д゚)ノ
zealous_steiner: (she keeps passing me by)

it's alright :3

[personal profile] zealous_steiner 2013-01-22 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
I saved her and successfully switched world-lines - but she lives in America, not in Akihabara. She did, after all, have to go home at some point.

Maybe, by Steins;Gate's choice, I'll see her again someday. I hope I do.

[If he could send one silent wish to BREW, though he knows it won't listen... it'd be to have Kurisu here. To have his lab-mems here.]
zealous_steiner: (badass couple)

omg I would kill to have a Kurisu. the banter that would ensue

[personal profile] zealous_steiner 2013-01-22 09:40 pm (UTC)(link)
I... I didn't think about that.

[And honestly, he didn't. With some research, he might be able to find her... find her, working on her thesis, before they'd even met the first time.]

[But this isn't the same universe, this isn't the same world-line, and who is to say Kurisu's even here? It's worth a try, though, and he even has someone willing to help...]

[An evil laugh rings out in the apartment, the kind that he hasn't heard from his own mouth in weeks.]

It's a different world-line entirely, and nobody can say whether she exists here too... but it's worth a try! I may be able to remember the lab she worked in, too...
