[So after a few days from his initial arrival, Steve finally decides to use the communicator he's given. He's not averse to using it, if the technology is helpful he's gonna work with it. He looks at the device, his expression friendly.]

Hello, this is Steve Rogers. Word is that I was here before, but guess that's happened to others too. Don't have my memories of that time, but I'm not against reintroducing myself and meeting anyone I've worked with before. [He's actually a little angry about that, but he's not showing it. It's sorta the opposite of waking up in New York, but still frustrating in its own way. Regardless, Steve remains calm and polite on the video feed.]

Not against meeting new soldiers- people, either. Trust in your comrades is always important. Doesn't matter what world you come from.

You're right. Had a lot of experience with humans in the past?

My kind has interacted with them a number of times in the recent past.

[He won't go into detail on how he personally blew up a number of human-inhabited planets before deciding there might have been a better way...]

There was a small force of humans who aided my companions against a threat in my sector of space.

Humans helping non-humans in space? Glad to hear that we're gonna go that far. [Of course, there are probably humans out there that is going to take advantage of others. But long as there people fighting for what's right still...]

Back in my time, we just had an alien invasion, but I worked with a person from another planet too.

We had reached a mutual agreement out of necessity.

An alien invasion? [It was fortunate that his expression was unreadable, as that thought hit far too close to home in that way.] Judging by your presence here, you were successful in defending against such an invasion?

Normal for people to band together in tougher times... stand together against a common enemy.

Yes, I was with a team and we stopped the invasion together. It was a hard battle, but we pulled through in the end. Couldn't have done it without them.

I have seen many aspects of human nature, and have seen such things to be true. [And yet he had also seen the other spectrum of human nature in such difficult times, and how they allow their greed and desire to cloud their judgement.]

You all must have been quite strong to defeat such an invasion. May I ask to who those aliens were? [He knew that they were not protoss, for there was no living memory of the terran before they had entered the space bordering their own sector.]

I'm guessin' you experienced the less positive aspects of human nature too.

I didn't actually catch their name, but most of them were human sized with grey skin and six fingers. They had purple blood and advanced technology, but... [Steve spreads his arms, trying to show something really big.] a few of 'em were huge space whales.

[Tassadar was quiet for a moment before he inclined his head.] Indeed I have, but there isn't one species that is without flaw.

I have not encountered such a race before. While the protoss' reach throughout space has been vast, we are not aware of every race evolving throughout every sector of space.

Both good and bad in every race, right? I've encountered two megalomaniacs, one was human.

There is no race without fault, regardless of how ancient or powerful they may be. However, there are a number of times where cultural differences clash, making neither one wrong, but having two sides unable to see reason due to their inability to think beyond their societal beliefs.

[He nods] There's a lot of cultural clash just in my country alone. People being intolerant of others.

It is a common theme throughout the galaxy, and yet there are times where it is not an instance of intolerance.

What happened in those instances?

There is no answer to such a question, for that would depend on the individuals involved.
