[So after a few days from his initial arrival, Steve finally decides to use the communicator he's given. He's not averse to using it, if the technology is helpful he's gonna work with it. He looks at the device, his expression friendly.]

Hello, this is Steve Rogers. Word is that I was here before, but guess that's happened to others too. Don't have my memories of that time, but I'm not against reintroducing myself and meeting anyone I've worked with before. [He's actually a little angry about that, but he's not showing it. It's sorta the opposite of waking up in New York, but still frustrating in its own way. Regardless, Steve remains calm and polite on the video feed.]

Not against meeting new soldiers- people, either. Trust in your comrades is always important. Doesn't matter what world you come from.

[He rubs the back of his head for a moment.] Apparently so. If BREW can take powers away, doesn't seem much of a long shot that it can take memories too.

Haven't met anyone else like this yet. But Neji, the person that told me, seems to be a trustworthy fella.

[Cloud appears with a considering look before he throws a warning look off-camera, like someone he's living with might do something he doesn't like.]

I'm Cloud, and it happens more than you realize people coming and going all the time. If you need any help beyond the city tour and such, feel free to let me know.

I'm the most powerful guest Meister in the city, and my grumpy partner will probably take his time to threaten you at some point. Don't mind him; he doesn't get out much.

[He leans real close to the camera, peering around it as if searching beyond it for said partner and suddenly whispers:] I encourage a big hug for him, but he tends to stiffen up and get all shy. Keep an eye out for a tall silver-haired guy and hold on really tight if you make it happen. I'll be nearby to help you out, maybe make it a group hug. [AKA Cloud holds Sephiroth from killing them all and Steve grapples that hug on.]

Pleasure meeting you, Cloud. I appreciate the offer, might take you on that sometime. [No sense in rejecting information like that.]

Guessin' that you've been here for a long time. [Small smile.] Your partner not much of a team player? Besides working with you?

[His tone is almost dry.] I'm usually not the guy that initiates a hug, but I'll remember that.

If only we were so fortunate to be trapped in a city completely populated by soldiers. [her voice is dry enough to be mistaken for the surrounding desert]

I imagine that things would be resolved a bit more quickly if that were the case.

[He rubs the back of his head.] Guess it doesn't sound all that appealing when you put it like that.

[But he becomes serious at that.] Only if they learned to work together. Even soldiers can be uncooperative at times, especially if they're from different militaries. But I'd like to think they band together in a situation like this.
