[So after a few days from his initial arrival, Steve finally decides to use the communicator he's given. He's not averse to using it, if the technology is helpful he's gonna work with it. He looks at the device, his expression friendly.]

Hello, this is Steve Rogers. Word is that I was here before, but guess that's happened to others too. Don't have my memories of that time, but I'm not against reintroducing myself and meeting anyone I've worked with before. [He's actually a little angry about that, but he's not showing it. It's sorta the opposite of waking up in New York, but still frustrating in its own way. Regardless, Steve remains calm and polite on the video feed.]

Not against meeting new soldiers- people, either. Trust in your comrades is always important. Doesn't matter what world you come from.

This place is different than where you come from. Find a good partner. That's the key to being effective here.

I've heard, plannin' on finding someone eventually. Sounds to me that it's a big decision.

It is. Resonance is extremely important.

Tell me, Rogers, are you a Meister or a Weapon?

I'm a Meister, Miss Tohno.

Every morning at six, we have training sessions. It's a good place to find Weapons looking for Meisters.

I've been to a training session yesterday, but I appreciate the advice. I'll try and look harder next time.

Hmm... What are your combat specializations? I know at least one Weapon without a Meister that could sorely use one. [If only to get Akiha's own partner off her back.]

I prefer a shield, but if that's not available, I can adapt to other weapons. In this situation, being able to trust my partner is more important.

...a shield isn't a weapon. It's a shield. For defense.

My partner is a staff.

That's unique. Does your partner specialize in a certain type of attack? [He only really remembers one use of a staff in his battles, and it was Loki that wielded it. Well, that was more of a sceptre, but close enough.]

My partner specializes in understanding the enemy, not a specific type of attack.

[It was Akiha that had the special attack.]

That's handy, being able to point out the weaknesses and strengths of all targets.

It's not exactly like that, but I do find Sion to be the best partner there for me. And in Shibusen.

[...assuming one can handle Sion. She's not the easiest to resonate with.]

I'm glad to hear that. You two must be a really strong team.
